So Cotto has NEVER beaten a top foe?

Close fight with a washed up Mosley, SD with a punching bag Clottey, and win over one legged, old Martinez. His ego doesnt match his resume. Your favorite fighter became a joke, deal with it.

Yeah the first time he fought Martimez and won his 4th weight world title granted, kudos, but still Canelo called it on with Cotto and he went a different route and that's fair enough..

But then! A second time Canelo came calling!

A Mexican came to try and make the fight with a PR for a second time, Canelo called him out, told him a PR doesn't duck a Mexican, Mexicans called out the Cotto fans.

And Cotto was silence, Canelo waited for agessss! Canelo called Cotto out publicly again telling Cotto a PR cannot duck a Mexican, twice!

End result, Cotto signs to fight Geale lmfao!!

Oh you mean when Canelo wanted the fight A WEEK AFTER THE FLOYD & PAC FIGHT!!???



Makes no sense financially to do another ppv fight right after "the fight of the century".

We already know Cotto couldn't train with roach late last year. On top of that, I think I read here that HBO or whatever didn't have the budget for the fight something along those lines.

Oh well don't forget Canelo & fishnets getting titie attacks about those mexican dates and that they were gonna take it away from floyd blah blah blah

If cotto thinks all of GGG's opponents have been sub par, why is he defending his belt against one of them? That was one of GGG's easiest win too.

What does that make Cotto's choice of opponent, to make matters worse they asked for a cw...

Cotto should just stay quiet about GGG, I find it more graceful to just say he has no comment about GGG.

He's defending against geale because its a voluntary. Do I like it, no. Is it understandable, yes.

And why should Cotto stay quiet when the press are the ones who ask him the same questions over and over again?

Two things.

1. If Cotto wants to fight in the middle weight division than he is going to be fighting larger men.

2. Ward and Froch are both physically larger than GGG and fight in a higher division.

So you want to say GGG is ducking guys that are'nt even in his division and are larger than him, but have no problems with Cotto ducking the **** out of GGG because he would be picking on a smaller guy when they are fighting in the same division. Could your bias be any more clear?

All that matters is Canelo came to fight Cotto twice

And twice Cotto has been the reason this fight didn't happen!
It's as simple as that.

You've got the excuses in hand, I'm not trying to convince you. But remember Cotto a Rican turned down Canelo a Mexican when it was the biggest fight Cotto could of made each time. The boxing community are laughing at him and he's shaming his nation. Fact.

Cotto sounds dumb saying Canelo failed to shine because he lost to Mayweather. By that logic then neither have you. You are more known for the big fights you lost then the ones you won. Take away the win against a old one legged Sergio who you ducked for years till he was old and injured what big fight did you shine? Plus Canelo did something you couldn't which is beat Trout who embarrassed the hell out of you. And his PPV with Mayweather blew your PPV with Mayweather out the water. Also his TV ratings in the Kirkland fight did more then your fight on HBO with Rodriguez did. Canelo has beaten the fighter you lost to and is pulling higher TV and PPV ratings then you. And saying GGG ain't beat nobody good while he is ducking GGG and fighting the same guy GGG destroyed is irony. Basically he is saying the guy I am choosing to fight instead of all these tough fights is just a bum. lol Cotto sounds like a chump the more he talks and makes excuses for why he is ducking both Canelo and GGG.
