I hope Geale pulls out on upset and ends this fools overly hyped Career. Enough said!!!

      Ha, "important fights!".

You mean only four losses margarito plaster, Manny less, Floyd who hasn't lost to Floyd and the bigger Trout?

      Nice try peasant.

The fact still remains that Cotto has faced the better opposition while GGG hasn't. Both over 30 both with over 30 pro fights. Cotto in his 4th weight division while GGG still in his 1st.

He is right... The hype is comedy and cotto is putting it into perspective. At least he is not making up a 155lb division aka MiddlePincheguey like shooknelo

If he decides he wants to fight Floyd or Khan I am might loose millions cause I can't guarantee either of those ppvs will be a hit because people might not tune in to see another Floyd fight big numbers PLUS Canelo might fight on HBO on the same Sept. date and therefore make it harder because people might rather watch a free match on tv rather than pay to watch ppv. SO ONLY TWO choices are CANELO or GGG. I GUARANTEE IT!!!! Two most profitable fights.
You are thinking too hard, or not hard enough.

Wards contract, for example, was 80mil.

Cotto is a draw, Ward is not.

You think they will make money on Ward ?

This is about solidity for a fledgling company, and market share.

                    I'm rolling around dying here!!!

                    Cotto wins: Judah
                    Mosley
                    Margarito

3 very good wins. Martinez isn't a good win, Martinez by the time Cotto got him was basically a spastic, Forrest Gump mother ****er. Clottey ain't all that and that fight could of gone either way.

                    Losses: Mayweather (rocked lol)
                    Pacquiao (battered)
                    Margarito (battered)
                    Trout (embarrassed)

All in all, he's no ATG. Just a great fighter from this era.
He's fought good fighters but he's been battered and embarrassed.

Canelo's win over a prime bogeyman Lara is better than any of Cottos wins!
Judah aint a good win, he is a mental midget. Yeah he was physically talented, but he always was a B fighter.

Margarito by that time was shot to ****, he got KTFO by Mosley and completely wrecked by Pac.

At the end of the day Cotto got a one good win over 35 yo Mosley, and he didnt dominate him. Just a win over a good fighter, who wasnt in his prime, but at least had healthy legs and eyes unlike Martinez and Marg.

Cotto is standing his ground as the "A" side for Canelo and GGG. He knows they need him more than he needs them. He's using his leverage and his resume to get an advantage, and I can't fault him! However, if he wants a PPV date again, he has to fight Canelo, GGG, or Mayweather. There's no other options!
