Complete joke & the sanctioning body should be embarrassed for allowing a 160 title fight at a catchweight of 157. Too many titles, catchweights, the best not fighting each other. Boxing is becoming a joke. Heavyweights are the only weightclass that appeals to me. Cotto should stay at 154. He is making a mockery of the WBC 160lbs belt...

If other fighters agree to the catch weight then there should be absolutely no problem. It's alway the other fighters right not to agree or not to take the fight.

As much as I hate catchweights, what you said is the bottom line. It is what it is. If no fighter accepts the catchweight, Cotto would not earn a living. But there will always be someone who agrees to the stipulation. If Mayweather wants the chance to pick up a middleweight title, this would be his best chance.
