Froch is a lot trickier and awkward than people give him credit for. GGG's natural tempo would suit Froch and he's the ability to hurt anyone.
He changes tempo a lot and his style IMO is something we haven't seen Froch face yet.
I can't think of any pressure fighters (let alone a skilled counter punching one) that he has faced since he became world champion.

Golovkin winning UD via clear but competitive fight.
Initially after Monroe fight I thought Carl would **** Golovkin out but after viewing that fight again Monroe didn't land in the first two and was effectively getting knocked out. Golovkin certainly either gassed slightly or eased off and got some more rounds!
I Don't think GGG would stop Froch but a KD wouldn't surprise me at all either.
Even if the power doesn't carry up, the boxing skills will.
Cutting off the ring, managing distance, footwork, timing and punch selection aren't just going to disappear because GGG is a SMW lol

At the same time, it could be Froch's retirement paycheck. I'm not saying Froch will show up just to get paid because at this point, he cares about his legacy, but perhaps he gets old overnight, this is not the opponent to let that happen with.
a lot of GGG fans seem to think he will just walk in the ring against froch and walk him down from round one,
i just cant see that happening ,
same goes for froch trying to walk GGG down, it just wont happen,
i can see froch trying to take the centre of the ring from round one,
but these two will have respect for each other not to just try and walk each other down in round one...

We all know Froch isn't a brilliant technical boxer, he isn't even that good of a boxer, he's a fighter and one of the best fighters ever.
Granted his jab is somewhat decent.
With that said Golovkin is a very very good boxer, he is technically superb and his amateur career proves this. Golovkin can certainly out-box Carl. George Groves was out boxing Carl for **** sake.
I can see the championship rounds going either way but no one is getting knocked out was my point. Whether you can see Froch coming back strong and putting some hurt on GGG or GGG wearing Froch down late and pinging him about this fight goes 12 rounds and Golovkin would of won the majority of the rounds by boxing Froch.

Golovkin should fight him, but only in a neutral location, the USA. Las Vegas, California or Atlantic City would be ideal.
He would be a fool to go to the UK where there will be shady BBBofC officials like Ian John-Lewis and Froch will be juiced to the eyeballs like he was against Bute.

Mancini is so full of it. He chastises smaller guys like Mayweather and Cotto for not fighting GGG then states GGG shoudn't fight Carl Froch? He wants guys who are fighting in their fourth and fifth weight class to challenge a puncher like GGG but doesn't want GGG to move up one damn weight class to challenge Carl Froch. Talk about hypocrisy.

Still, I believe that GGG can and will K.O. Froch and do so in great style.
