This would be the mother of throwback fights.

Froch is a lot trickier and awkward than people give him credit for. GGG's natural tempo would suit Froch and he's the ability to hurt anyone.

Ray is making it clear that in the United Kingdom that GGG must knock Carl Froch stone cold to get the win (anything less and somehow or other the fight will be given to Froch (you know: things such as ref Terry O'Connor carrying Nathan Cleverly back to his corner at the end of round 3, or ref Lou Moret being blind to the blatant fouling Lennox Lewis needed to use to stop Vitali Klitschko). Still, I believe that GGG can and will K.O. Froch and do so in great style.

i totally agree about GGGs tempo suiting Froch...

Froch will KO GGG, no doubt...

People are still not sure how good GGG is, as he hasn't fought any top notch names, although Murray was very competent at the weight.

Froch is a big test for GGG, but at least for GGG if he could beat Froch, it would show the acclaim is justified and the pressure would be off GGG, and could then go back to fighting bums for a while at middleweight.
Beat the Billy Joe Saunders and Eubanks for the near future.

GGG won the mental game against froch a year ago just by his performances alone. Here is the quote from froch...Here’s the quote from Froch that HBO showed last night: “Just swerve Golovkin like the plague. He punches like a mule. I don’t need to be in with him. Dangerous fight.”
                Hmmmmm...

I think GGG would make for an awesome fight against Froch but it could turn into his worse nightmare if Froch doesn't go down and is there trading back. If light hitting Monroe Jr. black and blued GGG's face with pillow patty shots here and there, imagine what Froch will do?

At the same time, it could be Froch's retirement paycheck. I'm not saying Froch will show up just to get paid because at this point, he cares about his legacy, but perhaps he gets old overnight, this is not the opponent to let that happen with.

Golovkin winning UD via clear but competitive fight.
Initially after Monroe fight I thought Carl would **** Golovkin out but after viewing that fight again Monroe didn't land in the first two and was effectively getting knocked out. Golovkin certainly either gassed slightly or eased off and got some more rounds!
i doubt it a ton of ggg support out there but honestly i think ggg is effective early and froch comes on strong late
