Golovkin winning UD via clear but competitive fight.
Initially after Monroe fight I thought Carl would **** Golovkin out but after viewing that fight again Monroe didn't land in the first two and was effectively getting knocked out. Golovkin certainly either gassed slightly or eased off and got some more rounds!
      i see ggg clear UD.
his power will be much less against bigger bois, and especially an iron chin at 168.
but people overlook how good golovkin was as an amateur. im not saying good amateur translates to good pro, just implying he has solid fundamentals and boxing skills.

I'd love to see this fight. G3 is a better boxer, but he's very hittable. Both guys are durable and Froch is very tenacious for a full 12 rounds. 50/50.

All the attributes that GGG brings to the ring count for little against Froch.

Does he really hit harder than Kessler, Abraham, Groves ? their punches bounced off Froch and he came wailing back with his own heavy hands every time.

There isn't a single man on Golovkin's record that Froch wouldn't clubber into submission.

Whereas just about everyone on CF's record would be a difficult fight for GGG.

There are a lot of unanswered questions about GGG as a professional for me. Can he take it as much as he dishes it out? he doesn't know how to nullify or hold properly. His offence is his only defence.

I watched him get rag dolled around the ring to a defeat against Gaydarbekov, who is a big strong guy like Froch.

I'd like to throw Golovkin a bone and say Froch is getting old and battle weary, but whilst it seems everyone Carl has faced has taken a chunk out of them, the wars have seemingly taken little toll on the Nottingham fighter by return.

Also aging affects speed and skill, things that Froch doesn't ever rely on. He's a lot rangier and cagey that people realise until they step in the ring with him.

People have hit Froch with the kitchen sink and he's still got up and battle back and stopped people. Most fighters do it once in a career - whereas Froch has done it more times I can think of.

The brit fans turn up in their tens of thousands - it wont be like 5k in California for GGG.

I think team Golovkin have got themselves a false sense of security right now. And feasting on B-level opponents is not what Gennady needs before stepping in with a chunk of iron like Carl Froch.

            Can he win? yes.

Would I bet on the hypothetical talent or the proven talent? well it's CF all day long for me.

On paper its hard to call, that's why its an intriguing fight. But to be honest, id like to see Degale v GGG just as much.

              The winner gets froch.

Much as I love Carl Froch , I don't see this being a good night for him. Froch does have almost superhuman stamina and an iron chin , but he does get hit far too much.
Groves nearly finished him inside a round, if that shot lands 30 seconds earlier I think Groves gets the stoppage.

They just need to make this fight happen. And when it does, Golovkin will be in front of Froch all night, which will ultimately doom him.

I see right hands coming over the "worst" jab ever and hooks to the heart as GGG hammers this guy out! Weither he gets stopped or not is meaningless it's about winning.
Froch is a tough guy but he's fought the same styled guys lately and he fights the same way too. He is ordinary at best and his name will never come up as a great middleweight or lightheavy he campaigns in a division were
lightheavies hide! Sorry but thats the truth, come fight night he weighs in just like a lightheavy would 180+!! So GGG will give away 10 to 14 pounds no big deal, one inch in height but be the harder hitter and although I believe he looses some power moving up Froch hasn't fought anyone lately who hits as hard as Gennady.
I'll give GGG plenty of credit to fight in England were he'll need a KO and still might loose!!!!

Be great for boxing and makes Cotto look even worse when the number one middleweight has to go to another weight because the so-called champ is afraid of him.
