Leonard has the edge in speed, power and combination punching especially at 147, which he tried to use in the first fight and it didn't work, and he wasn't able to make adjusments, Floyd is the king of adjustments, so I wouldn't count him out against anybody, but Duran has the perfect style to beat Floyd, It's just that he wasn't mentally strong and patient enough to deal with someone like Floyd Mayweather.
What do you guys think?!
SRL never out boxed Duran and made him quit. Duran quit for unknown reasons, that fight was even on the cards when he turned his back.
You also conveniently forget that Duran showed up ripped and mean in the first fight and layed a beating on Leonard in a bad way.
You also forget that floyd is naturally a smaller man, and arguably lost to a poor mans version of Duran in Maidana.
Duran was a monster at 147 when he showed up, he beat on 2 top tier fighters, SRL and Palomino. When 15 with Hagler. Thats like Broner taking on golovkin and making it competitive.
Duran was a monster at cutting the ring off, fighting rough, slipping punches and crowding fighters. He could do everything Maidana did but x3Last edited by them_apples; 05-25-2015, 06:34 PM.

This would be such a high IQ fight my mouth waters just thinking about it. Floyd's ability to control his opponent and control distance gives him the edge over ATG Duran. Floyd doesn't fight your fight unless he chooses to.

I've no idea who would win if both showed up at there best Duran(vs Leonard 1st fight) and Floyd(vs Hatton/Marquez) but I know it would be an amazing fight.
If you put a gun to my head, I'd put my money on the guy I've never seen lose.

Also he hardly laid a beating on Leonard in the first fight, it was a close and tough fight for both.
