i think its a closer fight at lightweight.....but 29-30yr old mayweather at 147 beats a game duran. Floyd was a bit experienced by the time he hit 147 than sugar ray at the time. He had already been fighting multiple divisions etc. So hes too smart to approach a duran fight the same way he did when he was younger (agustus fight) and go reckless. This is also the mayweather that would step in with a hook or dip his head in with a straight right push his gloves or forearm off a lil and fight on the inside which im sure duran would lovingly invite and that could make it a very good fight.

Leonard has the edge in speed, power and combination punching especially at 147, which he tried to use in the first fight and it didn't work, and he wasn't able to make adjusments, Floyd is the king of adjustments, so I wouldn't count him out against anybody, but Duran has the perfect style to beat Floyd, It's just that he wasn't mentally strong and patient enough to deal with someone like Floyd Mayweather.

      What do you guys think?!
If you base it off that. Then I disagree.

Leanord fought Duran at the worst time in his career. He was known to be near 200lbs coming into training camp.

I favor Duran at WW, Floyd would have his hands full, similar to Maidana , but Duran has the skills to counter while moving forward and backwards. One of the best inside fighters, with power on both hands. Duran is faster, has far better foot work, far more accurate, he's rough with his opponents on the inside. He can fight on the inside and outside.

Maybe if they fought at a lower weightclass?
Lightweight, it's hard not to favor Duran, if not all his defenses were won by KO.

Mayweather looked scared like what his father said in the Pac fight. Hugged, headlocked, ran. Pacquiao beat him in that fight and it took biased commentators and rigged compubox to make it look that Floyd won.

I don't think Floyd could run from Duran. If Maidana gave him fits in spots... Duran would have brought a whole different level. I am completely biased but I don't see Mayweather beating Hearns, Leonard, or Duran at 147.

How old was Floyd? We are talking about prime Floyd vs prime Duran and you're talking about 37 year old Floyd opperating at 80% at most that fight! Come on now...

Duran would beat the breaks off Floyd ..Floyd doesn't have the power to keep Duran honest !

gotta dig up legends for Floyd to take a "L"....I think it's satisfying to some for Floyd to lose anyway possible...even mythical fights....the Floyd hate is getting pathetic!!...quite sad that the best boxer most of us have ever seen have people praying for his downfall...in or outta the ring....I can see SOG or Craw Dog getting the same treatment in a few years from now

Again, Floyd was 37 when he fought Maidana and Maidana imo is physically stronger, stronger puncher but of course way less skilled than Duran, but the reason why he could push Floyd on to the ropes was because of size, weight and physical strength advantage.
