floyd would have won that fight at HW, but we can't deny the reality that alvarez was drained. he missed weight aginst angulo in his next fight. he was sitting on a chair at the weigh in, if any of you care to remember.
When exactly did he struggle to make 154?

There is a reason why they were allowed to weigh in more than 154 in several of Canelo's fights. Canelo certainly struggled to make 152.

Roach has been talking for years about his masterplan to beat Floyd... Where was it on fight night?

There was nothing that work for Manny strategically.

He couldnt cut off the ring, couldnt get passed the jab, couldnt stop Floyd from timing him, couldnt close the distance...
I'm almost positive their gameplan revolved around the notion that they were faster than floyd on their feet.

Manny was actually more effective than Floyd when you rewatch the fight. Close fight.
There was no excessive clinching and many of the clinches were caused by Manny crashing into Floyd. I've seen the fight more than once, the fight wasn't close.

The fact is that you're desperately trying to find excuses not to see the fight how it really went down. Pacquiao won at most 4 rounds, the fact that you have to watch it in slow motion to have a debate against the outcome is laughable.

Remember when Bradley got that gift win? Bradley fans also made videos in slow motion where Pacquiao missed plenty of punches and Pac fans dismissed them.

I repeat, when did he struggle to make 154? Before or after the Mayweather fight?

The post I quoted stated he struggled to make 154, and there's no evidence of that. He weighed in at 153 in the previous fight. Caneloweight began afterwards.

Now comes Floyd vs Manny, Floyd gets all the credit for doing very little. Sure some rounds he deserved but some, well, if the judges didn't know who Floyd was, he would be getting the Peterson treatment.

2 judges had it 116/112. Ledderman gave round 2 to Manny. Judges didn't. You can't find a few rounds that could have been scored differently? I could.
Which is why Harold is retired and you aren't a professional judge.

Canelo struggled to make 154, and so they had a special weight for him against Angulo for example and it was the fight after Floyd but I'm sure you knew that already.

We both know that Canelo's team complained that there was a CW demanded by Floyd and that they stated it would be difficult for Canelo to go down in weight. Canelo was interviewed just before the fight and said that trying to make the weight was the hardest part about his training camp. That tells you everything that you need to know.

BTW - Canelo came in at 153.5 against Trout.

116/112 was the score from 2 judges. Ledderman gave round 2 and if you watch the replay, one can see why. That makes it 115-113. Even if we stop here, that is a super close fight. So nobody is being desperate.

but if you look at some of the other rounds that they gave Floyd, I found other rounds that could have gone to Manny. You don't want to go there ......

As for replays and slo-mo or whatever. It's only human that when you are watching live, you missed something. So when I watched it again, I and even the more objective Floyd fans have admitted that they saw it different. Some may still say that Floyd won but it was a closer fight than what some people here have you thinking.

                • Floyd's reflexes and speed are incredible.

But how good would he really be if he fought fairly in and out of the ring? Without hugging as part of his fight tactics. Without the forearm/elbow. Without excessively running. Without dictating gloves to use. Without the spies.

The big difference here is Manny is still the one landing the cleaner and hard shot in Pac-Bradley 1. Yes he miss a lot but still landing the hard shots that visibly hurt Bradley. The Pac-Brad 1 I initally scored it 10-2 in live. After rewatching it, I scored it 8-4.

I think the round 3 is Pacquiao's Round. Rewatch the round 3 again. So if Lederman can give Pacquiao the round 2 plus the round 3 (which I think is a PAcquiao round), then the score card could be a draw.

The sad part all the judges gave the 3rd round to Floyd.
