Arum said even more than Crawford and Loma, Verdejo is the real star in his stable. I tend to listen to him when it comes to that particular subject.
I think Jose Ramirez will be even more popular than Verdejo. He's already sold nearly 10,000 for his last fight, which is crazy and he hasn't even had the push Verdejo is getting (not as much TV time but it'll change because this kid is drawing and selling huge). Ramirez already has mad sponsors! This kid will be a star. He's also Mexican American, which is possibly the biggest market in the USA. Both will be big though and we may see a future fight between them.

I hope Crawford and Lomachenko can become stars as well! Those two are so amazing, it'll suck if they can't attract crowds. But Crawford seems to have little personality and Lomachenko is not American, so unless Loma could attract the Mexican audience like GGG is doing, idk if he could. I'm rooting for Lomachenko, who is my favorite boxer, he has a beautiful style to watch; I'm more worried about Loma than Crawford because at least Crawford can sell in Omaha.

Manny Pacquiao became a PPV star behind careful matchmaking, Top Rank/HBO's media machine, hitching his cart to Floyd Mayweather Jr, the sport's unquestioned superstar, and never saying more than a handful of actual words.

Pacquiao smiles, goes into the ring, fights whatever Top Rank puts in front of him, and goes away. Being an utter cynic, when that started to go stale, Pacquiao found God, latched onto 4-5 scripted lines, and continued on as a cog in the machine.

It will most likely be Canelo. He has the largest fan base to do so. GGG could sell decently if he keeps winning and getting KOs. I see a lot of people saying Thurman but honestly he is not popular at all and his personality is corny as hell. There was a thread on here which said they had to give away tickets for the first PBC card.

I think we already have one in GGG he just needs that Breakout fight... not sure how much time he has left on the old ticker though he's getting a little long in the tooth.

It's Canelo, Crawford, GGG and Kovalev.

I would say Wilder but I think Hymen will try and match him lightly for some reason.

Canelo. That's it. Point Blank. End of Discussion.

There might be a fight here and there just because of monetary reasons the fight would need to be on PPV. Just dont think anyone outside of Canelo can become a PPV attraction (meaning all or most of their fights will be on PPV).

                  Canelo- Yes

Crawford- No, not interesting enough and I dont think he'll fight the level of opposition to warrant PPV fights

GGG- B Side vs Canelo might be his one and only PPV fight.

                  Kovalev- Nope

Wilder- He might have a couple PPV fights but wont be a staple on PPV especially with Haymon trying to push for network ratings

Nice try...it was fighting ODLH, the same guy that put Floyd on the map.

The thread is meant for guys AFTER FLOYD and PAC. Hymen is killing his fighters and you have to realize that Hymen's entire model is moving in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF PPV's! So, yeah, anyone NOT A HYMEN BOXER stands the best chance of being a PPV boxer.
