Who becomes the next 'PPV Star' after Floyd?

It will take some time for a new 'PPV Star' to reach the top after Mayweather & Pacquiao retire, but who do you think will be the next boxing superstar?

If I was to make a prediction now, I would say Thurman, GGG potentially or Canelo. I'm just curious.

I don't want to see 'Boxing is dead now'. People have been saying this for hundreds of years and the sport always finds a new guy/new guys.

Someone with a lot of personality like Floyd will be the next PPV Star. Thurman and GGG have a lot of personality.

Personality and excitement for sure. But do you think that can transcend into global stars?

Match ups will determine PPV viability for the forseeable future. I don't see any one guy that can carry a PPV and cetainly not on Floyd's level. At least not yet.

Me too. I see Welterweight and Middleweight divisions becoming very competitive in the near future. Some big match ups for sure

Thurman and Canelo if they keep winning (I guess they keep) maybe Crawford but it's hard to tell because he asn't got neither one of those "I'm very humble and a nice guy" type of personalities like Pac nor the ****y, flashy personality like May's.

I don't think any of these guys could carry a ppv on their own for the next couple of years, but with the right matchups Canelo and GGG are probably the guys who can pull some numbers in the very near future. Verdejo is probably the guy in 5 years who can carry a ppv....I don't know if the PBC format will be good for building a star that can stand on his own, even though I really like Thurman and Spence.

There is huge talent out there, but I see a lack of personality right now. I would be interested to see a loudmouth GGG or Andre Ward. I even kind of miss how flashy & arrogant Floyd was a few years ago, like the Floyd we saw leading up to Oscar.

If there's no passing the torch fights (like DLH to Mayweather and Pacquiao), it's gonna take a while.

Canelo is already likely the biggest ppv "star" south of those two, and a Cotto fight would do major business, and if they keep winning a Canelo-Golovkin down the road could be big.

But not sure who else becomes a star anytime soon.
