It has been a long trend, he is horrendous. Remember all those pieces about how crappy it was at HBO now HBO while not really doing anything different is aces in his book. Because of his personal feud with Ross Greenburg who was pissed about leaks at his company.

If he had a portrait of Bob Arum tattooed on his back I would only be mildly surprised, and I don't mean a little one I mean full back spread.

I love this post ! It reiterates what I've been saying for so long which is

Any real boxing fan with at least two brain cells to rub together knows that the most exciting fights for GGG are Ward and Canelo . When boxing FANS start talking about GREAT fights not making financial sense it really grinds my gears . Stay in your f..king lane boxing fans . Stop giving the networks pro bono support not to make GREAT fights happen . R u a network owner ? Do u get a cut from HBO profits ? Do u get a cut from PPV profits ? Then why the f..k do u care how financially viable a fight is for a network ? All u should be concerned about is seeing the great fights , so if your concern instead is the financial viability of a fight , then your clearly suffering from delusions of grandure and probably r in need of many, many years of therapy .

No doubt Haymon is good for fighters he avoids risky fights and uses his leverage to get overpaid for easy fights. Everybody knows that...But how is any of this good for boxing fans? I could care less if Danny Garcia gets paid over 1 mil to fight a bum like Salka. I only care about good fights and more often then not Haymon is the road block to good fights.

Haymon's end game is simple. He wants to build the PBC brand and then create his own boxing league like UFC and sell it to the highest network bidder. And PBC creating their own league where he has his own belts his fighters can only fight each other is not good for boxing. Haymon already refuses to work with other promoters and constantly forces his fighters to take fights nobody wants to see. If he was at least pitting all his best fighters against each other for amazing barn burner fights (which he easily could of made PBC be) I would give him a pass. But not only does he refuse to let his fighters face any of the top fighters outside his stable his own fighters don't fight the best in his stable. Why did Broner fight Molina instead of Danny Garcia? Why isn't Khan fighting Thurman? Why isn't Wilder fighting somebody with a pulse? If Haymon already has created a division in boxing why would you think if PBC becomes successful that it won't be harder to make the fights we all want to see? But who cares because look at the size of Broners purse lol
          Childlike logic.

Hauser made ethical mistakes by not pointing out until the 3rd installment of the series that he was attending the fight to write on behalf of HBO and that his press credential was revoked. Then in this installment he basically just complains about Haymon being successful by working with Floyd, putting on this event, and his ability to obtain funding to try and make PBC a success.

It was frankly odd to see a boxing writer complain about boxing getting more exposure. I don't recall ever seeing another writer tied to a specific sport complain about more TV exposure. Boxing is different and Hauser would have a valid point if he expanded the scope of his article to include TR, DIbella, fox, tru TV and all other en****** also putting on more programming.

This article seemed extremely biased and frankly, prejudiced/bigoted.

Hell hath no fury like a Pac fan butthurt over a loss to Floyd..

When there is a black fighter out there who's dominant and confident , racist complain he's boring or isn't a big enough draw (as if they're profiting from him) . When there was a prominent promoter named Don King who was stealing from his fighters just like his white counterpart Arum , racist complained that those poor black victimized fighters deserve better and that boxing should rid itself of King . Now there's a cunning black executive in boxing who ensures fighters r receiving ample share and all u here now is how he's bad for boxing , and that although his fighters make more , Al is screwing up the game by overcharging the networks for fights (I thought your concern were the fighters?) and that his broadcast sucks (despite the fact their tuning in every time ) . First the concern from a racist was that fighters get fair pay , but now that Haymon has fixed that problem , the new concern is networks getting ripped off , lol . Just admit that your real concern is maintaining white supremacy . One thing I've noticed about racism , is that it will scour the earth for a new mask & costume !

Wilder is the heavyweight version of GGG. He was 32-0 with 32 KOs. But the hype for him isnt as strong as GGG.. I wonder why.

Broner-Porter is more evenly matched than any fight on Golovkins resume. That fact alone should shut you up.
