Marciano holds the record for most wins by a champion who retired undefeated without any losses, draws, or no contests/decisions.
You don't know what you're talking about you BBC sucking wigg.

Chavez and Lopez were both CHAMPS who went past 50 wins without defeats.

This isn't Brian Nielsen who had 50 something wins before getting his first loss.

      Touchy subject i see lol.
This is a BS record if you ask me. Plenty of fighters could of got to this point (chavez sr for example) then just retired. Then we wouldn't of got to see their full potential.

Hell Gonzalez could choose to fight bums for the rest of his days and beat this record. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't mean ****. People need to let this go, it doesn't really mean ****!!!

LOL exactly. A friend of mine who was a HUGE sweet pea fan stopped watching boxing because of that fight.

Good post. People put far too much weight on a guys record in general. Not saying it does'nt matter, but a guy with a 47-3 record who has fought a murderers row of competition versus a guy that is 50-0 and fought bums. I think the better fighter should be obvious.

Floyd Mayweather will finish around 10-0/11-0 vs. Hall of Famers.

                That's murderer's row.

Flowmo logic: Wow that Mexican fighter Ricardo "Finito" Lopez must be better than FLoyd and Rocky Marciano for being undefeated longer than they are
