Also, Manny threw twice. His right hand appears to have connected but I can't say 100% from that angle. but .... only 1 punch was counted as thrown and of course not landed due to Floyd's foul.

I don't remember anyone bringing it up here but Floyd's corner brought up Marquez. Floyd Sr couldn't even remember his name (Marquez) but he tried to tell his son to do like Marquez did.

I agree, Manny would have fought with more pressure but I knew they were going to at least start this off as a tactical fight. I said so here prior to the fight.
Their plan was OK but there were too many factors (variables) that were against Manny going into this fight .....
so Manny would have been better off putting more pressure since Floyd does not go for the home run like Marquez did because that would leave Floyd open too much and consequently can get KOed as well. Marquez knew that and was ready to accept the consequences.

Floyd held his ground right from the off. First 3 rounds he held his ground and clearly won the rounds. Facts are facts is there for all to see. Didn't you all say something along the lines of "if slow plodding Maidana can land 240 on Floyd what will manny do to him" hahaha.
