I disagree with your sentiment. The only close rounds that could have gone either way were rounds 9 and 10. I thought 4 and 6 were Pacquiao rounds and the rest were Mayweather rounds. Even in the rounds where Pacquiao did flurry his punches were often missing or blocked. His work while Floyd was against the ropes was messy and he sometimes ate counter punches while coming in, which probably explained why he was so tentative.

I think in the center of the ring Floyd easily controlled Manny with his jab and left hook. Pacquiao's jab was near nonexistent, he rarely landed it and only threw it as a range finder. This was probably not a "schooling" but it was a clear victory for Floyd. 10 rounds to 2 is not an outrageous score.

They have had to invent their own scoring criteria to even pretend the fight was close...that says it all.

Pacquaio suffered from aesthetic presumptions and some of the work he did in there was underrated/under appreciated.

He did what Floyd always does, which is land some good one-punch counters BUT that is not expected of him. What is expected of him is flurry and to bum-rush opponents and throw a lot of punches. That or a clean KO a la Ricky hatton.

Most of that stuff went unnoticed. If he didn't flurry, he didn't get the round even if it was a close round and both guys landed some of the same punches as these gifts show.

I still had Floyd up 7-5, but to say that Pac got schooled is pure hyperbole. NO, Floyd didn't get pummeled as some were predicting. That's all there was to it.

This is exactly what happened. I've watched it a couple of times and am solid on a 8-4. Felt Pacquiao was outboxed in a competitive fight.

any fans without agenda would be saying this. it was a tactical match in which pac loss because judges expect more from him and pbf do his usual stuff.
nobody was schooled as some claim. it was a close tactical match, not a 10-2 type of score.

I agree with this... warp speed chess match. The low output from both was because of the high degree of science that was being employed. it was definitely a thinking man's fight.

I think Pac had the wrong gameplan, foolish to think people would give him credit for landing single potshots and counters. The expectation was for HIM to bring the excitement to the fight, in the rounds he did not, the round was automatically given to Floyd, lol. Felt he was a bit gunshy because he's been knocked out recently, too. Oh well.

None of the punches you posted where scoring blows or landed. Clinching and punching is illegal and the punches Floyd throws while holding Pacquiao don't count. Punches with the inside of the glove don't count. you could give Floyd the lowblow/body shot and one right hand(none of which were the ones you picked up on) but that's it, maybe a jab somewhere, he lost that round handily.

My post was about round 3. Floyd fans were laughing and saying Floyd clearly won the round. I presented video clips and so did a Floyd fan. Everyone can see that there was nothing to laugh about. Also, Manny definitely won that round.

When one compares the 2 highlights, Manny clearly won the round.
