Both Ioka & Reveco blatantly ducked Gonzalez when those matchups were most viable and there's nothing to suggest that they'd be willing to fight him now.
It fell through because HBO offered the pair of them $150,000 to split. That's the only offer HBO have made and he's specifically stated he wants to fight him again.
And @ thinking he wants the entire million.
Why are you bringing logic into this. He wanted the whole million and Estrada to fight for free
The reason why people would like to see a rematch is because at that time, Estrada was 20 years old, he had faced limited opposition and had to drop to 108 pounds to face roman g and gave him a hell of a fight. At this present time, estrada is about 24 is in his natural weight and has fought good competition, not to mention he is the unified champion.
On the verge of turning 23, 26-1 and scored the single best win of his career in his very next bout.

That wasn't the only offer, it was bumped up to 500k and the fight didn't materialize. I never claimed he wanted the entire million, I specifically said purse. By the way Estrada was 22 when he was dragged down to 108 for Roman to defend his title against, not 20 nor 23
Edit: on the verge of turning 23? Really? Lmao the fight happened half a year before Estrada turned 23, how is that on the verge? He was green and untested at 108, deal with it.
All those factors might make a difference in the rematch. The weight definitely will. Estrada has improved while roman has been constant in his skills. I would know, I've watched him ever since he was at 105, I doubt many here have including you.

Hence "on the verge of turning 23." Not a prospect, just a relatively untested contender who scored his biggest win in his very next fight (which remains his most significant victory since.)
They've specified their asking price, and $500,000 for one of the very best matchups in boxing (a sport in which larger sums of money are wasted on significantly worse matchups) isn't **** all in the grand scheme of things.

I've been watching Gonzalez for about five and half years now, son - ever since he blitzed Ivan Meneses. I know exactly how good he is and have glorified his abilities on this (particularly on my older account) and other forums.
