'Fans' excuse, good reason to dislike a boxer?

It's hilarious how one thread is leading to another thread which is leading to another thread.

Somewhat. Look at someone like Lucas Matthysse. I could never be a fan of this guy.
1.He isn't that skilled.
2.He has literally some of the worst fans in the sport. Actually his fans are more of a reason for his hatred than the fighter himself since he hasn't actually done anything outside of the ring to warrant any hatred.
Too many Eastern European fans of eastern European boxers(See:Wlad, Loma, GGG, Kovalev) spend ALL THEIR DAYS hating on black fighters. Everyday. Without fail. It makes it harder to support those particular fighters but ****, skills trump everything else in my book so I do anyways though I try to avoid being associated with those types.

That's because they believe that many black fans hate Eastern European fighters.

See how it goes? A typical "chicken and egg" situation which locks some fans into an action and reaction argument which just goes on and on and on ...

Like 2 kids throwing stones at each other. You ask each one why he's chucking stones at the other and the answer you get from both is - "because he's chucking them at me"

Man, I'm not black or white. I still support and enjoy watching black, white and asian boxers despite their fans so why shouldn't you?

Nah not in my opinion. It would be literally not liking someone because your friend doesn't, even if you do not know this other person. You need to like or dislike things based on your own opinion and not the impact of other peoples'.

I'm guilty of it( Manny) , For me its not the only reason I'd be rooting against a certain fighter but if I hate their fanbase it's definitly a contributing factor

Here you go. A fighter is disliked because:

A) He is unbeaten and often arrogant or a prick
B) His fans suck: they hype a fighter, they lack knowledge, they insult a favorite fighter
C) His race, color, etc
D) He ducks
E) He lies or cheats
F) He is competing in the division of a favorite fighter
G) He is not that good and the hype is not justified
H) He got a shot at a title he didn't earn
I) He was given gift decisions
J) any combination of the above
