Serious question. Who is more skilled - Broner or Matthyse?

I'm guessing you think it's Broner as you once said on this very site (I believe it was after he beat Escobedo) that Broner had ATG potential.

I don't know why but that comments sticks in my mind for some reason.

Some people will be prejudiced against certain genres - rap, for example - because of the culture it creates.

I guess a fighters fans is a sort-of-equivalent in boxing

However, I do try to separate a fighters fans/persona and the fighter inside the ring as much as possible.
It's good that you acknowledge this. I know it can be difficult to accept someone from a culture that you may not be fond of.

It's a truly bogus reason. It doesn't exist. Everything comes off of your feeling for the fighter. If their fanbase is terrible, that just exacerbates things.

In fact, let's face it, which facking fighter actually has a non-annoying fanbase?

All this stuff about...."Oh, I love Pac but his fans annoy me" is straight BS. Everything stems from how you feel about that fighter. Mayweather fans are atrocious, as bad as Pacturts in their own way.....yet I don't dislike Floyd because of his fans, I dislike him because of who he is. His fans are just the icing on the cake

No it's not but rabid fans can definitely make harder to like a fighter. You have to do your best to judge a fighter rightly even if his fans are ****** af

I think the way you describe your feeling for Mayweather is reasonable. Mayweather's personality on TV is... well I don't like much, so I look past that and only enjoy his fights.

It's not a good reason at all, but I'm human and crazy fans have turned me off a few fighters.

It's funny how you pretend that you're objective when you assume all Mayweather fans like Broner who I can't stand.

You're one of the most biased people on this site and always have been with your one sided "racial solidarity" speeches.

You don't like Mayweather fans but have no problems with other fans and you know why. So "let's keep it real" as you love to say.

Fans of fighters can be irritating and sometimes it's hard to debate them without pointing out their favorite fighters flaws.

Mayweather is just an example. The point is, no-one hates fighters because of their fans. Everything comes off your feelings for the fighter themself

I've hated Floyd, Calzaghe, Haye, Khan, Adonis, Qullin....their obnoxious fans just add to it, but if I was riding with those dudes, their fans wouldn't bother me.

                    The fan excuse is BS.

Another Floyd fan here who thinks Broner ****ing sucks. I've said that from day one, and root against him every time. Loved it when Maidana sonned him.
