this idiot just keeps sticking his foot in his mouth and don't understand that money talks and his BS walks. he can fight on september 12th. nobody is stopping him. but he has a $10 dollar fanbase compared to mayweather's high rollers vegas fanbase. so he better book in texas again.

really , why would anybody keep buying Mayweathers defense first fights against somebody other than Pac 2, Canelo 2, Cotto 2 , or GGG? Mayweahter doesn't own those dates. If you saw how he was portrayed on Univision and other channels as a chicken running from Pac , then would why do we keep buying that p****y"s FIGHTS. Good for Canelo Hope he takes that date. Mayweather doesn't fight enough in the fight to be taking all the prime dates.

I'll take Canelo PPV > Mayweather using his routine blueprint to an easy points decision and charging us $70 to watch it, and hear his cronies say it was the other guys fault for not being able to make Floyd fight. No one should have to make Floyd fight, that's sort of his job you know, a sport you get paid for punching each other in the face.

He won't be the highest draw in the sport anymore. He might get a quarter ppv buys next time if he's lucky. Yeah he's the best at winning decisions on people. Knockouts, ha he couldn't bust a g****. I think people finally realize after the Pac fight that dancing with the stars in free, no need to pay 100 bucks to watch one episode. When people want to see a fight/ boxing they'll order a canelo fight cause it's a FIGHT.

Floyd turned off A LOT of the casuals when he fought Pac. The casuals are the ones who buy big when big names fight. Canelo/Cotto is better than anything Floyd comes up with in September. Hope it IS his last fight, not too many will miss him.

Well canelo definitely has a better chance now considering Floyd's last threat was manny. So nobody really gives a sh it about Floyd now. Depending on who canelo fights it should be easy to compete with Floyd for the date

I read it somewhere but there's a lot of information going the other way so I'm not really sure now. Canelo saying he is going to fight on September 12 doesn't sound like anything is guaranteed. Cotto isn't going to go up against Floyd unless it's in the ring, that really screams that it's not done. Also, the only thing saying they have to fight is a "source." As stated, there was another source that said it was done, then said it was Mayweather/Cotto II, both instances it was wrong.

LLS now Canelo is all of a sudden a big draw that can compete with Floyd in that department. The lengths that some of yall go to discredit everything about Floyd is just sad.

Yall need to stop acting like part of the HBO#'s Canelo did wasn't for the fact that Floyd and Manny was on replay.

Canelo is not known enough to draw casual fans to take a significant amount of viewers from Floyd no matter who Floyd fights.

Nobody outside of hard core and mexican fans know who the hell Canelo is stop gassing this dude like he is anything but a average fighter.
