The Cotto-Canelo deal fell through before Roc Nation came to the table. I always knew that Cotto would run everyone's faces through the mud at the negotiation table.That he would have series of tough stipulations.

The second round of negotiations for this fight will probably be even more difficult than the first. Top Rank won't be mediating. Canelo's ego is now bigger. And if Cotto wins next fight, his ego will be a bit bigger too.

All I can say is good luck to this fight happening. It's arguably worse than the Mayweather vs. Pacquaio situation. But everyone doesn't realise it.

honest question here, have you heard anything about the agreement that cotto made with hbo in order to get his next fight televised?

Doesnt make you a freak just cavalier with your finances. Think to order a fight against someone who best win is one of Mayweathers worse win (guerrero) and another fight who best win is one of Mayweather worse wins (maidana).

He'll fight Cotto in October, no way they go up against Mayweather in his "farewell" fight, I'm hoping he fights Thurman, the build-up will be classic cause Thurman loves to talk *****. If Khan destroys Algieri, the boxing fans and media can hype that fight up as Khan is a real threat with his speed.
