Hang on a sec. The money he makes has no correlation to whether he is boring in the ring or not. The financials are more a question of marketing. Transformers movies make a billion. Bon Jovi have sold a huge number of albums. Money is no signifier of quality or entertainment value, at all.

He's tremendously boring, especially these days - Pacquiao, Canelo, De La Hoya, Marquez - all exciting fighters, were reduced to nullified sparring partners because of Floyd's cynical, horrendous style. Oh I forget, the onus is on THEM to make Mayweather's ass less tedious

Floyd is one of the most boring, joyless fighters in boxing right now. His obnoxious fanbase are too busy revelling in the win over Pacquaio to actually understand the problem with the fight of the century.

Morales washed up at 30
Fernando Vargas washed up and DONE at 29
Victor Ortiz washed up at 28

those are 3 examples and their age is almost when they should be at their prime and they are aalready old for the sport.

Its common sense but i know this forum doesnt have it so i break it down for you.

SO maybe they should have spent more time in the gym honing their craft so they can fight like Floyd and avoid getting their brains beaten out everytime they fight.

Manny walked away 6 years ago. Manny was the consensus #2 P4p fighter in the world even at this stage. We saw why he walked away May 2nd. I wished he hadn't of 6 years ago but then he wouldn't of made as much after getting beaten so easily.

Floyd has always been and will always be better than these guys, especially Manny.

Its TR/HBO putting excitement above winning. The give their big draws opposition that "looks great losing" or has no real chance to win. Then they sell that. How fans support that is crazy.

Then when they face highly skilled fighters and lose, they bury the skilled guy in favor of the loser. Mostly because of economics. The guys that "lose great" take less money. They are just happy to keep getting fights despite losing.

Winning is devalued, except for only those at the top of the TR/HBO pyramid.

Look at Manny's last three opponents after he got Ko'ed by JMM, and ask yourself if those opponents elevated or prepared Manny's game enough to face Floyd.

- Bradley is a very good fighter, but is undisciplined.
- Rios is a human punching bag and any A-level fighter would look great against him.
- Algeri was as green as he could be, having only two 12 rounders prior to facing Manny.
