Pacquiao walked away with $25m and, if Koncz/Arum are completely honest with him, will get ~75% of whatever comes into Top Rank (minus whatever advances that he picked up on the fight), which may end up being $180m.

$180m, minus Arum's cut, gets Pacquiao $125m-$135m. deduct whatever advances that Top Rank gave Pacquiao for the fight, not to mention the $25m already paid to Pacquiao, and the full number maybe gets up to another ~$70m (brought in over the next two years, as the receipts roll in, likely leading to further advances being asked for, with even less money getting to Pacquiao.

Insane. That's more than the career earnings of most athletes. Not too shabby for 36 minutes work.

These men choose not to go all out for the win because Floyd's style would punish them for that. Instead, they decided that losing via UD was better than risking getting KO'd to win That's not on Floyd.

Canelo is the perfect example. Had he fought Floyd like he fought Kirkland, he might have won a round.

You really want Floyd to not fight at his best to make it easier for guys to win?

we know why Guerrero's dad isn't asking them to. Why aren't you asking for them to step up their performance?

would hold my tongue till the actual numbers come in, tbh.

Arum's gonna take his third, a significant chunk of his purse will be withheld for tax withholdings, and Pacquiao still needs to pay back the fight advances that Arum fronted Pacquiao.

At least with the $40m, the offer was structured in a way that might actually end up with Pacquiao taking home some money (immediate $20m goes to paying off Arum [$12m] and covering whatever camp/entourage expenses with the remaining $8m, and Pacquiao covers his taxes [$12m] off of the second $20m, putting nearly $10m into his bank account (adding sponsorships and his take on the Filipino TV rights).

Mayweather-Pacquiao is looking like it'll end up doing near double what anyone ever honestly expected it to do, and Pacquiao maybe puts $20m-$30m into the bank, once everyone gets dabbed off.

I know you're still salty so I understand.

Mayweather ran or fought like a coward against Canelo, Marquez and Delahoya? It's his fault he didn't allow them to look good? LOL okay

Than all the sparring partners,Body guards, Judges, ref he bribes so I doubt he walks with that. Whats left will be a cool 80 million more than what most of us will make in a life time doe

wealthy people have a lower effective tax rate than those in the middle class if the money is managed properly.

I don't understand this. Floyd was looking at $80 million himself.

Both made more money now than they would have any other time this fight would have happened. The same sarcastic "Floyd should have tooken da $100mill offered by Dubai doe" regarding Floyd.
