no,,,,folks that dont know boxing may have made that claim. I was one of many that pointed out wlads slowing reflexes right after that fight. pulev was landing clean shots that wlad used to avoid with ease. fury deserves huge credit if he beats wlad but only a moronic fool would say wlad was in his prime at 40 yrs old
Wrong. Pulev just has fast hands and good skills for a heavyweight and is better than most other foes Wlad has had. Thats all. But Wlad did a good Job by beeing agressive and stopping him early because he had to. Pulev is no bum.
BTW Pulev wins a decision against Fury.
For all the boxing fans who are claiming that Wlad's reflexes have slowed down and that Tyson is catching him at the right time. Remember that the last thing to go on an aging fighter is his power and Klitschko has that in an abundance.
Wlad fans were saying he was at the peak of his powers after the Pulev fight 6 months ago. They've all made their beds now they have to lie in them. Don't get scared now.
I'm a Wlad fan and I still believe he is pretty much at his peak, give or take.
Maybe he is more prone to injuries now then a few years ago? Maybe, with age he will have tougher time in training camps (but if he plays it right a la Mayweather and gets his ice baths for recovery, he could minimize any training related fatigue).
But other then that, he still has it. The one thing that people have taken for granted with Wlad because of his consistency of dominating fights - is that he can come into a fight unmotivated and put on a bad performance just because of that (instead of this low IQ analysis of "he just hugs, grabs jabs"). He shouldn't have that issue with Fury as I'm sure he takes him and his size very serious. And styles also make fights. Wlad will have a big ass target in front of him to unload on, and be less dependent on his size which will make things interesting.

Pulev clearly watched tapes of Wlad and practiced on blocking the jab and straight right from the go. It didn't work at all on him and Wlad ADJUSTED (something that only Floyd can do according to some) and started throwing lead hooks. Straight power shots didn't work at all.
All credit to Pulev. I remember posts about 2 years ago when some wanted Wlad to vacate one of the belts and just stop ducking Pulev and give him a shot (calls for a Pulev-Wlad fight were similar to the calls for Wlad-Fury now), since he is a more credible challenger then the guy Wlad fought. But now in hindsight, he was just another guy apparently.
Fury will make Wlad look like a tired old man. Btw Scott, Wlad punched himself in the face a lot more recently than Fury did.

Look at that pile of lard in your sig. Just from a pure physical standpoint, Fury is not athletic enough of a specimen to box like that against Wlad.
Wlad has been gifted with superior genes that you could build a master race around. Fury looks like a Gigant buffoon whose off-spring would look like Andre the Giant. Wlad is a legitimate, healthy big guy. Fury has the type of height and body composition where his size will start to effect his performance in a few years, and his quality of life down the road.
Just a different take on things. There is no way he beats Wlad. All my points on it.

Hallelujah. Some sense brought to the debate.
Fury fans or Klitschko haters whichever they are, I believe it is most likely the latter as only buffoons would back Fury to win, will only acknowledge what they want to see. Unfortunately that is their prerogative.
I just hope they stick around the forums afterwards or in the very least don't change the appearance of their profiles to appear as Wilder, no doubts the UK guys will have been fully behind Joshua to defeat Fury all along by the time Joshua vs Fury is being talked about.
The butthurt runs deep on this forum, I know a lot guys would have put all their energies and hopes into Haye to defeat the champ and it can be a sensitive subject to a quite a lot of them, it is no different to what we are witnessing here with Tyson 2fast Lol Fury.

Yet Fury has much better stamina than Wlad, doesn't rely on leaning and clinching every 10 seconds to catch some rest, throws roughly twice as many punches as Wlad does in a fight, and even when in very poor condition early in his career has never gassed and been stopped, unlike Wlad.
********** over Wlad's torso all you like, the fact remains that Fury has a better engine and is a superior athlete.

Spot on. For some reason that escapes me, these guys always judge a fighter's ability based musculature/vascularity etc.
It's especially ironic considering how Wlad was obliterated in 200 seconds by a full time golfer with a beergut.
