  • Comments Thread For: Team Klitschko Eye Tyson Fury For September, October

Tyson Fury (24-0, 18KOs) may finally get the man he wants in the fall. Fury, the mandatory challenger to IBO/WBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, is being lined up by the champion's team as the fall opponent.

Klitschko retained his titles last month with a strong twelve round decision victory over previously undefeated Bryant Jennings at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The champion's adviser, Shelley Finkel, says Fury is the likely opponent for Wladimir in the fall and there is a very good possibility of the fight taking place in the challenger's backyard.

Fury could win it. I've made fun of him a lot because the UK anti-Klitschko brigade deserves it. However, he is very young and getting better every fight while Wlad has clearly aged and slowed down.

But how many times has Fury challenged Wlad now only to suddenly drop the issue announce he's fighting someone else...

I wonder what country Tyson Fury's gonna represent this time? It seems like he changes from English to Irish and vice versa when it suits him.
