Fury gets the fight at the right time and he has a chance. But Klitschko is still Klitschko and he will be a massive favourite.

After seeing klitschko's last fight I am no longer sure he beats Fury. Wilder either. Wladimir is far past his best days.

What was interesting after the broadcast was that they said Clay had limited Liston to look like a sparring partner and they mentioned some of the guys Liston had beaten like Williams and Folley. All it took was the right guy to prove that Liston wasn't that unbeatable at all - and I'm kind of wondering if this could happen to Wlad too. Because nowadays, let's be honest, people mostly think of Liston in context with Ali. Right?
If Wlad goes out and maybe gets completely outboxed by say a Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder similarly to the way Liston did. Will people be wondering if he was only that dominant because he didn't face anyone who could actually match him? Or will they say he was too old? People think Liston was in his 40s when he fought Ali for example..
Anyway, it's just an interesting thought if Wlad gets "exposed". To wonder whether the same thing would have happened 5 years ago and Wlad just wasn't that good and his dominance was a reflection of the opposition.

I really want to see this one. Fury has done what he has needed to do to earn it, now, I hope Wlad does what he needs to do to close the show. After Wlad's last fight, I'm not so sure though. Jennings frustrated the hell out of Wlad with his movement and he was much smaller. Fury is bigger and has decent movement but his chin is made of paper mache. I think Wlad lands a straight right and puts Fury down then it's pizza face from there.

Edit: Liston looked great in his previous fights before Clay while Wlad has looked very vulnerable and far past his best. Even in the fight with Pulev he was rocked badly and I'm not impressed with Pulev at all.Last edited by joseph5620; 05-08-2015, 11:15 PM.

Dangerous fight for Wlad at this stage of his career, very hyped for it, i heard alot of people claiming Fury is the truth, underrated etc. I am not so sure about it but the sheer size of Fury, his reach and that combined with Wlad's age will make it a very interesting fight. I think both will be hit quite alot, this will be a massive fight and the buildup will be hilarious. Hopefully the fight gets made.

would have laughed at this fight a few years ago but fury has a real chance now. wlad has been getting slower and more hittable with each fight lately and hes obviously only getting older. fury has his flaws but hes young with very good stamina and work rate. wouldnt be shocked if he out worked wlad to a decision win. wlad needs to retire soon. hes clearly slipping and one of these young guys are going to knock him off and it could be fury in his next fight

Wlad fans were saying he was at the peak of his powers after the Pulev fight 6 months ago. They've all made their beds now they have to lie in them. Don't get scared now.
