My unpopular opinion was that Pacquiao wanted no part with Mayweather prior, Golovkin wants no part of Andre Ward, and for now atleast, Kovalev wants no part of Stevenson

I blame promoters, but these fighters dont get called out when they're behaving counterproductive, people will quickly name all the fighters that are ducking GGG, but are quick to ignore that hes....kinda ducking Ward. Seeking smaller fighters two divisons below him, and ignoring moving up one division to face the one fighter that makes sense for him

I dont know why fans think these face first punchers are in such a rush to face a slick boxer.... Punchers know what they are, and know their limitations

How do you duck someone outside your division? It would be like claiming Floyd is ducking GGG at 154. Also I said this in another thread as well. Why do people have such a problem with GGG wanting Floyd at 154? The size descrepancy between GGG and Mayweather is about the same as the size difference between Ward and GGG. You seem to have no problem with him facing a guy that is a natural 175lber(where he won his gold medal) but scoff at him fighting Floyd at 154. A weight that Floyd could fight at easily if he wanted to. Floyd should'nt fight him imo anyways, but please just stop with the size excuses. Just say the truth. There is'nt anything in it for Floyd.

As for Kovalev. This fight not happening is far more complicated than them just walking away form the negotiations, you know it and I know it. With the way Sergey has looked the last couple years versus what Stevenson has looked like in his last couple fights. What exactly would Kovalev not want a part of? Stevenson is a one trick pony, granted that left hand is ****ing deadly, but one, Sergey is'nt just some come forward brawler and two Stevenson is'nt a slick boxer. Hes a good boxer and a great counter puncher, but slick, no. Anyways I'm pissed because it will be a great fight and I honestly can't pick a winner, but I would be shocked if it made it the distance. Someone is going to sleep in this one if it ever happens.

It's very much debatable, if you look at the facts objectively. I don't know if Stevenson was scared, or just lured away from the fight by Haymon's promise to get him more money for BHop instead, but the fight was there for him and he pulled out of it. That's a fact.

What's happening now is TV network contract ****, a different game completely.

Also, Stevenson didn't make Kovalev a counter offer last year, to fight him somewhere else at another time. He just walked away completely.

Kovalev has made a counter offer, or Duva has. The fight can still happen, if Stevenson wants it, but it has to be on HBO.

That's not true at all. when the video came out, I killed it, even though I didn't think it was racist. I got banned for calling him krusher killa kov, just without the usher, illa and ov.

Your join date is June 2013, well after any DV incidents, Floyd getting jail time or the video was posted. You can't possibly know what I posted. You are simply regurgitating something you saw somewhere else.

youre half right. Duva campaigned to be named mando, NOT for a purse bid. There is a difference. Once Kov was named mando, instead of opening negotiations (which was what Duva expected), GYM instead said "no negotiations" and requested a purse bid. This is very unusual for there to be a purse bid when both guys still have interim fights, but a bid was ordered and Duva had to withdraw because of their HBO deal.

Yes, Duva initiated the mando process and ultimately withdrew, but its a bit more nuanced than you illustrated......

I didn't say he didn't. I did say he made a move for more money so I was ok with it. That's why I didn't watch fights of his until Bika-because I thought he would fight Kov next.

No she didn't. read the articles again my friend, she outlined the paramaters of a possible deal but never made a counter offer.
