Is it safe to say that no version of Pac beats Mayweather?

Holyfield, Mosely saw it, I did too.

He was the affective aggressor throughout the fight and landed the heavier punches. You can argue Pac was the ring general pushing the action. And winning the heavier relevant punches and Floyd won on jabbing all night.

Jabbing all night vs heavier punches was the story.

There were close rounds that could have scored either way, but the hometown boy got the nod, after all his from Vegas. Watch the fight again, it will change most of your thoughts on the fight. The swing rounds all went to Floyd, give it to Pac this fight is even or even a win for Pac.
    I wish this was sarcasm...

I dont understand why people are getting so hung up on some sort of schooling or total dominance, there were a lot of close rounds which Floyd nicked from a few single shots, a little more emphasis from Manny and he would have taken them.
People should re watch the Marquez fight to see how much more daring Manny was, and his willingness to take one to get one, he was much more nimble as well and that was not even his prime.
It's to be expected. It was an 8-4 type fight with many close rounds that were etched by Floyd, Pac wobbled Floyd plenty.

The key was that prime Pac would have threw caution to the wind, this one didn't wanna risk it in front of the world.

He was happy to collect that massive pay check and didn't wanna risk getting knocked unconscious again.

It's not his style, he does not have the size to pull it off. You people need to stop with the Maidana talk in regards to Pacquiao.
Calm down. I only meant it would have been as competitive as Maidana-Floyd I. Nothing else was implied.

It would have never been that competetive. For Pacquiao to be as competetive as Castillo, Cotto, or Maidana he'd need that similar WEIGHT ADVANTAGE. Pacquiao was always gonna do about as good as Judah. Anyone who is Floyd's size will be lucky to win 3-4 rounds, like Marquez, Judah and Pacquiao ended up winning, 2-4 rounds. Castillo, DLH, Maidana all imposed their size on Mayweather, which made the fights competetive. Pacquiao was fast and powerful, but he always had the shotty defense, was always 148-150, and always had that lunging-in flaw throughout his whole career when he was green, prime and now. The fight at it's best would have always been 8-4 Mayweather, at best.

old version of manny is cautious
            and stop after throwing 4combination

earlier version never stop and no fear

and u saw what happen when pac unleashed combinations
floyd just stays in the rope

floyd is the best at timing the best time to fight a guy

Maybe 5 years ago its a bit closer, Manny had quicker feet and hands.

But the feeling is Mayweather is just the bigger, more intelligent fighter with more tools than Manny.

The genuinely funny thing about that video is that the highlights showing some of Mayweather's best work doesn't look impressive at all. Twelve rounds to choose from and even some of his best shots were glancing or blocked shots.

Pathetic display from both of them.
