Is it safe to say that no version of Pac beats Mayweather?

Manny back when he stopped Hatton had the best chance. Mayweather knew this.

Unless his reach grows 5 inches he'll never win, or stand a chance.

Floyd's cherrypicking ways paid off in the long run.

We will never know...now most will go with the assumption and agree.

But really, for Pac to have a chance he'd need to maximize his physical strengths and attributes...speed, stamina, workrate, power, etc...He had that back in 2010.

It would have been a different fight.

But all would agree no version of pac can outbox Floyd. But by pressuring him , he might have been more successful.

2009 Pac had the best shot.

He had a lot of momentum coming out of big victories.

                  That's indisputable.

Pac today has suffered damage in Margarito fight, JMM KO, Bradley loss.

Can't really compare Pac's physical and mental condition as it was 5-6 years ago than as it is today.

Pac 6 years ago was the better Pac hands down.

Would he beat Mayweather? Maybe not, but he'd have a much higher probability back then.

2010 Pac is definitely a different story. The Pac who fought yesterday was overly cautious and slow. I'm not buying the right shoulder injury. The reasons why Pac lost are:
                    1. No gameplan for team Pac.
                    2. Pac being gun shy (due to JMM KO)
                    3. Pac failed to make the fight at fast pace as per his usual
                    3. Mayweather came in as the better prepared and conditioned boxer

Would have been a different fight.

Its like comparing Duran vs Leonard 1 and 3.

If you never saw Duran Leonard 1, you would have sworn there was no way durran could have ever beat Leonard. It was impossible. Leonard was too good, to slick, to precise, to fast. Until Duran made none of that matter.

Reality is Pacquiao is old, wayyyy pas his prime, even further past it that I thought he was, and Floyd is still very close to his prime.

To many wars, to many hard fights, and at 36, when fighters of his style are usually past their best by 32.
