Floyd beating Manny means about as much as Lewis beating Tyson

Floyd waited five years to bear a former flyweight at light middleweight. Makes sense because Mayweather already cleaned out the featherweight and light welterweight divisions as a light middleweight.

Tonight, Floyd beat the 36 year old version of Pacquiao who failed to stop Algieri and Rios, lol. Big deal. And Pacquiao didn't have a single mark on his face so stop with this he got destroyed crap. Taken to school? Yea maybe- to Usaine Bolt's school of running/hugging lol.

The 30 year old Prime Pac who stopped Cotto would have beaten Floyd. Even this 36 year old shot Pac (who couldn't stop Algieri or drop bum bum Rios) had Mayweather on the ropes and was landing combos, and stole 4 rounds. If this was prime Pac from 5-6 years ago (the one who dropped Cotto twice) Floyd would have been seriously hurt or dropped in the 4th round. But the old shot Pacquiao just didn't have the power and stamina to do it.

Floyd was smart to duck Pac for the past 5 years because he knew his style aged far better than Pacquiao's, just like Lewis's style aged far better than Tyson's. But prime Tyson would still have destroyed lewis, just like prime Pac beats Floyd.

But hey, it is what it is. Boring ass fight with lots of running/hugging. Floyd won the fight by jabbing at a distance and hugging at close range. The old shot Manny of 2015 couldn't overcome the reach disadvantage, just like old shot tyson couldn't overcome Lewis's reach.

Wouldn't have worked against prime Pac with endless stamina and real power. And Still doesnt change the fact that 1). Floyd ducked prime Pac for 6 years and 2). Pac has won more world titles than Floyd and will be ranked higher historically.

To the flowmoes, do you really think that the 36 year old Pac of 2015 who failed to stop Algieri and Rios is even half the beast that the 30 year old prime Pac who stopped Cotto and Dela hoya was?

srsly leave youre not a real boxing fan, real fans give credit where its due, not make excuses after losses. You cant use the past prime excuses because floyd is also past prime and also older. the fight would have gone the same way 5 years. face it. manny isnt on floyds level.

You don't know sht abut boxing. Manny's style ages far worse than Floyd's because Manny relies on physical attributes which diminishes as one gets older. Floyd could still whitewash Canelo recently while Manny couldnt even hurt Rios or stop Algiery recently while 6 years ago he was stopping oscar hatton and cotto.

History and real boxing fans know that Floyd avoided the prime Pac from 2009-2011 when he was stopping guys like Oscar hatton and cotto, and only fought him when he was 36 and couldn't even stop Rios and Algieri.

Before the fight: Floyd was forced into taking the fight, Floyd is scared, Floyds legs have gone, Pac is faster, Pac is too active, he just knocked down Algieri 6 times.

Lewis was also older than Tyson. Has nothing to do with age, god you flowmoes really can't read can you. For the 100th time it's about styles, pacs style has aged far worse than Floyd's. floyd fought old Pac who couldn't hurt Rios while avoided the prime Pac of 2010.

Your analogy of Tyson vs Lewis is seriously flawed. If you can't see that, then no amount of logic or argument is going to change things.

Lets just forget that Tyson went to prison, took heavy medications, and had messed up his entire life by the time he fought Lewis. Just disregard that and say his "style" is what made him age.

Tyson was not in wars like other prominent fighters have been in. He steamrolled the competition, and absolutely dominated boxing. So to say Tyson past his prime is just like Manny is ludicrous. It's insulting to anybody who knows anything about these two fighters.
