Cotto wants the big money that comes with a Canelo fight, it simply makes financial sense.

Truth, however, they'll take anything they can to spew drivel about GGG being this feared beast. The simple truth is, and this goes for anything in life, is that money talks.

If I were GGG's team, I would only take a deal if they guaranteed that the winner of Cotto/Canelo fight him. According to this article, Roc Nation has not agreed to that. Time for Cotto to vacate that belt or fight GGG after Geale or agree to face him should he beat Alvarez.

And the same goes for Canelo should he beat Cotto.

Cotto Is The Pusss Here; Canelo & GGG Would Have Been MUCH Bigger Paydays Than Geale

Canelo has no problem fighting Gennady. He can't beat GGG, but he has the balls to take the fight and has said so. Cotto stalled and wouldn't fight Canelo, he won't fight GGG. I'm not sure Cotto can even beat Geale who was destroyed by GGG. But if he should find a way to beat Geale, Cotto is stuck. He can't beat Canelo or Gennady which is why he hasn't pony'd up to either and is now trying to weasel into a step-aside negotiation with Gennady. MAN UP COTTO, you phukkin weasel. What ever happened to fighting the best of the best in your division. Keep trying to find weak links to avoid Canelo & GGG, by talking Geale & Tim Bradley (welterweight). Beat an injury prone, washed up 40 year old Sergio Martinez to get a belt at 160, but you won't fight the best at 160 OR at 154????? Pusssy!

Awww, Someone Wants GGG to Move 3 Divisions Away From Pretty Boy

Well of course T.M.T wants Golovkin moving up. But actually... He should fight one contender at 154 and then become the No 1 contender for Pretty Boy's SW belt.

Tricky situation here. Take step aside money and at least you get something out of it, try to force it and Cotto will just drop the belt. He'll get to fight for the vacant title again whoever, but Cotto would still be the true lineal champ regardless. Tough call.

I feel that it would be cool if Cotto vacates, fights Canelo with no belt on the line. Give GGG his belt already he's got so many great fights to make once he's collected the WBC belt.
