Thirdly, the lawsuits he took up to get out of his promotional contract were frivalous and shouldve been given better advice before taking them.

And then you want to talk about Ward getting 2million for fighting Rodriguez. Your boy Chavez got 4.2 for a fight he was supposed to win.

He couldn't have made 160. He fought as a LHW as an amateur.

Damned if you do damned if you dont i guess . People ***** about fighting scrubs and then laugh about getting beat by a top 10 in the division. How exactly was fonfara a cherry pick? Kid is big strong and in his prime no body to be taken lightly. Chavez couldve easy taken a fight with Glen frikin johnson and got a feel for light heavy. But no dude went balls deep and it didnt work. But thats how you get recognition and respect. He's a 168lb fighter. He didn't even really "clean out" 168 and the landscape has changed since then. There are some fights I'd like to see him in at 168 before he moves up in weight.
