Chaves Jr on the other hand has steadily detached from his fanbase since his major layoff.

I suppose this is a good indication for boxing as a sport, it seems like people are interested enough to give two rival broadcasters some good ratings. Perhaps Haymon's PBC shows are beginning to reel in more fans and sparking new interests amongst the casuals, atleast enough to give good ratings all around, regardless of promoter, channel or manager.

Showtime is in trouble, haymon really left espinoza with his pants down and his **** swinging in the wind, he kinda did the same thing to oscar stealing most of his fighters and pretty much decimating the goldenboy roster, i wonder how its all going to play out. but that was a poor showing by chavez, dont get me wrong the kids got guts he took lots of damage but you cant quit on your stool like that, it flushes his whole mexican warrior image down the toilet. not a good showing for showtime and haymon when one of there top guys is getting the **** beat out of him and booed out of the building and mexicans are throwing beercans all over the place

I think as PBC does well, HBO will make fights like this and put on fighters like Gonzalez. It's a win win for me as a boxing fan.
