That's the thing, hes such a spooled and entitled fighter that he is just too lazy to cut off all the excess weight. He looks like he's real bulked up, but in his case it seems his muscles slow him down because his frame isn't big enough for 175. Fonfara is a natural 175 lber and that's the difference. Everything bob arum said about Chavez Jr. Was the truth.

Arum tried Making the GGG fight.. Chavez Jr by then had Al or the Watsons whispering in his ear. Bob got Atleast something with the whole buyout. Al gonna squeeze showtime for $$$$ for this

This isn't Haymon's fault. Do you think Haymon was happy about last night?
Chavez Jr. doesn't train. His own father in an interview he gave to ESPN deportes David Faitelson admitted that his son went into the fight without sparring much or even training. He only worked with Goosen a real trainer at the very beginning of March. The same thing that happened when he fought Sergio Martinez. idiot refused to train, was smoking pot, and even trained in the living room.

Chavez Jr is lazy, and really a disgrace to boxing.

Mexican fighters get ostracized for quitting. That doesn't mean they don't quit. What it means is Mexican fighters who quit suffer fan back lash.

You officially sound more ****** than Arum.

I doubt Haymon would have wanted Jr to fight above 168. It's well known Jr likes getting fat eating junk and then being lazy in the gym, the spoilt idiot probably requested it himself.

Arum was going to pay Chavez 7 million to fight ggg at 168, and if he won hr would have got 10 million the fight after, and if he lost he would have gotten 5 mill the fight after. So that's 12-17 million for 2 fights against someone coming up from 160 as opposed to fonfara who is a natural 175 lber. If Chavez was to get exposed he should have done it against ggg and Carl froch, both of whome arum could have gotten him fights with. Even Chavez Sr. Wanted his son to take the deal and now look, his career is in tatters

My problem with this matchup wasn't that Haymon put in Chavez too tough. My problem is that he put Fonfara in too easy. It was just bad matchmaking. And I'm not saying it was bad matchmaking because Haymon didn't protect Chavez enough. I'm saying it was bad matchmaking because it was a fight that was obvious to me wouldn't be very competitive. Good matchmaking involves making competitive fights, not mismatches like what we got on Saturday.

I admit I was giddy for the fight because I wanted to see Chavez Jr get destroyed for selfish reasons, but overall, a competitive Chavez fight would have probably been better.
