    wow just catching up on this fight but anyone who is surprised i have to question you're boxing judgement i dont care how big a fighter is you go that much up in weight and fight a live fighter your in trouble

          I believe you are in denial because it doesn't matter how serious Junior becomes. Simply because he is little more than a face first brawler with little to no actual boxing skills.

            chavez cant make 160 to make 15 million it wasnt a dumb move..it was the necessary move and his career is nowhere near over...he'll have a packed house again..he gave a hell of a fight thats all the fans want these days

                Fonfara is a legit top 5-10 light heavyweight, and Chavez Jr shouldn't have been in the ring with him in the first place, especially for his first fight back after a year away from fighting.

                Still, there are a lot of positives to look to, his chin holding up at light heavyweight being the biggest one.

                Chavez takes a couple weeks off, goes back into the gym to keep fit, and continues with the plan that he was moving with.

                Next fight is at 168, against a so-so guy, in August/September, before closing out the year with another fight at 168. Win both of those fights and Chavez can eye a big fight March/April 2016.
