Wow, Chavez should've taken that deal from Arum. Was it for like $7m for GGG and then another $5m for the next fight even if he lost. Granted, he would've taken a really serious beating from GGG and might not have even been able to take the second fight, but at least could've saved a little face. Probably won't even get $500k for his next fight now. Very good performance from Fonfara, though, have to give him a lot of credit. He toyed with Chavez.

To get Golovkin into even the semblance of an actual fight, maybe Ward/Froch/Abraham/etc might just have enough to give him some kind of a fight.
Golovkin is almost 33 years old, yet he's never been in a single competitive fight.

It's a shame for this sport, because Kovalev was surfing over a surreal wave of admiration, since Stevenson signed a better deal with Showtime. But in fact, Kovalev signed his deal with HBO (AFTER) Stevenson went to Showtime, I didn't say before, I said Kovalev signed AFTER.
Lets hope Provodnikov is not ****** racist & anti-semic as Mr. withdraw Kovalev is.
And now that Haymon manage to open more options for all boxers, Kovalev re-signed another contract with HBO (AFTER) his victory over Jean Pascal, which clearly show how team Kovalev were bluffing all along about Stevenson. Kovalev is now playing the Jean Pascal game, by attempting to convince his fans that Stevenson doesn't want to fight him even when he mocks Stevenson, when in facts, he & Kathy Duva are the ones running together in the opposite direction.
I wonder what John David Jackson think about this fraud.

His skill level has always been apparent, nothing new there. Thats why he lost 11 rounds to Martinez..... and having to fight at 175 because he lacks the discipline to make 160, is why he was not going to be able to save himself with a last minute near-KO, like he did in the Martinez fight.

All this Maravilla shyt and you have to take a serious look at the journeymen on his resume. I think Paul Williams was Sergio's best win in the past decade. A Haymaker win.
