If Michel's question is genuine, rather than just a PR exercise, then he and Haymon must be open to the idea of the fight being screened on HBO. So yeah, there is a glimmer of hope there.
Meaning Haymon would win the purse bid and put the fight on NBC. Duva would never bid enough (unless HBO backed her) to win the purse bid.

If the HBO/ME package is a good one, Haymon might not make any money by outbidding it. He can't keep investing for ever. Sooner or later, he's got to get a return on all the money he's been shelling out. Maybe he'll see this fight as a chance to do that.

Even more of a reason for Kathy/kov to let it go to a purse bid, right?

Kathy/Kov have no leg to stand on here dude. This is BS of the highest order.

Duva says at the end of her letter that Sergey decided to stay with HBO.
Make of that what you will. I'd say it was probably a joint decision made by the three of them.

Like Michel says in his letter, a co-promotion would make a purse bid unnecessary, but he and Haymon need to know exactly what's on the table from HBO before they decide whether to go with that option or not.

I'm just hoping that Michel is sincere in what he says and they haven't already decided to blow the fight off and blame Duva.

But yeah, they would be fully entitled to do that if they wanted to.

dude Kathy/Kov walked away. this one is on them. As for the last time, rick reeno wrote a detailed article that explained the situation.

I as well want to see them fight.

This is why I don't normally jump on the "He ducking us crap" but I let my guard down for this one, I too jumped on the Adonis is ducking Kobalev bandwagon. This right now just show me why I was wrong.

FINALLY, a poster man enough to admit prematurely attacking Adonis was wrong.

                    Thanks Ray!

Haymon could not put this fight on any network other than Showtime for it to be PPV in Canada or at least Quebec. It is impossible to block out an OTA channel that anyone can get with a 5 buck antenna. Seeing as it cannot be on a free network channel, HBO would have the lead in negotiations as they are the only way to go with a PPV option in Canada. Unless Haymon goes to Showtime. But it will not be a PBC fight.
