And this is the fairest way to make a fight amongst different promoters/networks/sponsors etc...
Biggest purse bid wins. Same thing happened with the Mares Donaire situation. Mares' team was willing to put up the most money and Top Rank rejected it.
They have no right to ever call another fighter a duck. Or another entity an "obstructionist" as she so eloquently called Haymon numerous times.

Not only that, but you know damn well HBO can release him for one fight if they want to.
2nd, Haymon has every right to bankroll whoever the hell he wants. Promoting and bankrolling are two completely seperate things. You are blatantly misrepresenting the facts when you talk about the Ali Act. Haymon can invest in his fighters since he stands to profit from them doing well. Thats common friggin sense.
When all else fails blaming Haymon is always an option huh?
As for Haymon and 'his' fighters, he has no fighters, the fighters have an advisor. Haymon is not a promoter and does not pay the fighters, he is a manager/advisor and fighters pay him for his services. Like a trainer, an advisor works for the fighter - the fighter does not work for the advisor. The guy is a walking Ali Act violation and it is well past time something is done about him.

Kathy and kovalev just don't want the fight.
Clearly, they do want the fight. But Duva, for whatever reason, didn't reckon on GYM asking for a purse bid rather than negotiating with her.

When she made this request Kov had the HBO deal and Stevenson was on SHowtime. He is also managed by Haymon. There is no way anyone thought there wouldn't be a purse bid. Most posters even rejoiced about that fact because they felt it prevented Stevenson from running away again.
Kathy asked to be mandatory then decided not to be. You can argue they wanted it then You simply can't argue that now.
