Moot point..Haymon is not a promoter and as such cannot bid on any fight. Haymon is an advisor/manager and fighters pay him for his services, he does not pay fighters. Promoters pay fighters and if anyone could get proof that Haymon is behind any bids or is paying money to fighters he would be in violation of the Ali Act.
I'm sure whoever was the "promoter" for his PBC cards thus far, would have bid on his behalfComment

no it's not even close to being the same situation. Come on now
They had basically a deal in place before to fight after tuneups and STevenson wanted ONE more tuneup and signed with a different network to avoid the fight.
Kovalev is just renewing his contract with the network that gave him his first big opportunities on the big stage. wtf.
Stevenson can fight Kovalev on HBO PPV for ONE fight.Comment

Dam, this might not happen.
@ChrisMannixSI just read it and you are right! 50-50 on everything is acceptable for us but we box on the network who will bring the most!

I'm furious. I will never stop holding a grudge against Duva if she blows this fight now. Someone needs to tell Kovalev this is happening so he can slap some sense into her and make sure she doesn't duck this **** now.Comment

Yes, he should be able to. It's not on Kov.... its his boneheaded Promoter.
Look i want the fihgt to happen. idc where and how. DUVA is at fault here, not Kovalev. the fight needs to happen, period. And kovalev wants it.
Stop calling him a duckComment
