Let's pretend the Dirrell decision wasn't questionable too.

Still doesn't explain how Froch can say Khan always loses at top level. His last fight was against a top fighter - a 168 version of Alexander probably would have tied Froch up in knots for more than a few rounds whereas Khan whitewashed him like he was nothing.
PEDS, inconclusive. Khan lost to Peterson. Doesn't matter about your opinion, that's just how it is.

    • Froch ducked degale, Hopkins, direll, ward, Stevenson , kovalev, Kessler and ggg most in the space of the last 6 months

What do you mean "inconclusive"? It's a fact he was on PEDs. It doesn't matter about your desperate denial, that's just how it is.

Either way - Khan has wins over several "top level" fighters. Froch is clearly wrong whether you want to split hairs about the Peterson "loss" or not.

Come on guys. Don't let the hate blind you. Amir Khan has fought much better competition and has been on PPV in the UK several times, including against non-draws like Kotelnik.

It's Brook who's conning the sport. Dont get me wrong, Khan-Brook is a 50-50 fight but Kell Brook has almost cheated his way there by fighting soft touches and calling out Khan

Froch was beaten by Kessler and Ward, and also really beaten by Dirrell. There's a reason why Froch refuses to fight Ward again.

When Froch stepped up he lost.

Froch is a far bigger attraction/draw than Khan has ever been, both in terms of selling tickets and ppv's. It's not even debatable. He could fight Ward, Chavez, DeGale, Golovkin - any of those sort of names - and instantly sell out any major arena here in Britain. In fact, those would be stadium fights.

And Khan's not popular in the UK. He's well known but largely a figure of ridicule these days. The guy that cheats on his wife, flops his c*ck out on Skype & gets into street fights with teenagers. The moment his mug popped up on the big screen during the Froch-Groves rematch, he was roundly booed.

Well no....they wouldn't. Froch vs none of those guys would do Wembley. Froch vs Groves II did Wembley but then so would Khan-Brook.

I never specifically mentioned Wembley, though those are still the sort of fights that could easily draw 30,000 - 40,000 crowds.

The point remains: Froch is a much bigger draw than Khan.

                      Absolutely correct!

                      Khan / Alexander @ MGM

                      17K venue
                      7.5K through the gate
                      55% empty seats

all this in the "home of boxing" where most casuals will go and see a fight on spec. AND Alexander was Khan's biggest name foe since Maidana.

Khan's rep as a draw is bulllhsit.
