The point remains: Froch is a much bigger draw than Khan.
Where? In Nottingham? Against name opponents.

Put Khan in Bolton against a name opponent and he draws a similar crowd.

all this in the "home of boxing" where most casuals will go and see a fight on spec. AND Alexander was Khan's biggest name foe since Maidana.

Khan's rep as a draw is bulllhsit.
What were Froch's numbers in Vegas....whoops my mistake, I mean Atalantic City or Connecticut?

I missed that. When did that happen?

Don't know, don't care much either. Just pointing out the obvious... Khan's not the draw you and others like to claim.

Don't think I've ever claimed Khan is a huge draw in America but neither is Froch. In fact, Froch is no draw in America whatsoever - that's why he has fought mostly in backwater bingo halls.

Those numbers you posted were actually quite impressive from Khan headling a card in Vegas just before Christmas against Devon Alexander who has zero fanbase outside St Louis and is one of the most boring fighters in boxing.

Yup... not sure what you've claimed either, it's all instantly forgettable. Just another Khan fan boy with a generally skewed perspective. I agree with the other bit though... 55% empty isn't anything too noteworthy for Khan.

Skewed perspective? From the guy who posts numbers of Khan's drawing power in Las Vegas to compare it to Carl Froch who has never even fought in Vegas

Pretty sure I just posted some interesting stat's Khan's lack of pulling power. No comparison, that's your job

You butted into a conversation I was having about Khan's drawing power versus Froch's by saying "absolutely correct!" and then posting Khan's attendance figures from a place Froch has never boxed

Froch is far removed from being a regional attraction at this point, as the Kessler rematch and first Groves fight proves. Those venues could have been filled twice over given the ticket demand.

Khan got sparked out and won his first belt in a blacked out arena, barely filled half the capacity in Sheffield - it's one of the reasons he's been fighting exclusively in the U.S for the last five years.

Khan is a former unified world champion. A feat he achieved long before Carl Froch and with two legitimate world titles - not the fake WBA belt that Carl is so desperate to hang onto.

Khan has several world class fighters on his resume who he has beaten.

He's lost twice, same as Carl Froch. So I guess Carl always gets beat at top level as well?
                    Khan lost three times, brah

                    KO'd against bum Prescott

                    dropped decision to Peterson

and got his glass neck shattered against Garcia

Froch lost to Kessler and Ward

The first Groves fight was in the MEN....the venue Khan sold out against Paul McCloskey.

Most shouldn't consider the hometown gift decision loss to a testosterone fuelled PEDerson as a defeat but each to his own.
