Danny won. Not fighting and dancing around doesn't get you a W. If using movement, you have to still throw punches. Rigo throws, Floyd throws, Ward throws even if not a lot, the throws are efficient. Lamont, (and lara though this may not be the time) simply moved, and didn't get the W

Danny Farcia is practically winless since 2012 and that was 63 year old Erik Morales. Yeah he KO'd some cab driver named Salka but he sc****d by war torn Judah, lost in Puerto rico and lost tonight by at least 2 points. Farcia will get his candy ass beat at 147.Last edited by Lou Cipher; 04-12-2015, 12:00 AM.

Not a good win for Garcia!! Maybe he won more early rounds, but he got beat up BAD the last qtr of the fight!! If it was 15 rds, he may have easily lost to Peterson.
And Peterson is on something!! He's never been this strong and had a chin!

I had Peterson winning seven rounds to five. Early on he effectively moved to avoid Garcia’s hard shots. His movement made Garcia stand in place for most of the early rounds. For whatever reason, Garcia had no answer for this other than wait for an extended exchange that never came about early on.
So you have Peterson effectively moving early on, nullifying Garcia’s counterpunching (because Garcia needs you to stay in the pocket to counterpunch – ala Marquez). But with Peterson not doing that, Garcia has nothing else to fall on. Garcia needs to learn to force opponents to a firefight and not just wait for it like he did here.
Garcia’s Achilles heel is a boxer-puncher. At the lighter weights, he’s survived, but at clear welter, when he meets up with this type of combination he will have fits and possibly be stopped.
In essence, I saw Garcia heavily exposed tonight. When he won the five rounds I gave him, he barely one them, taking close rounds where Peterson elected to mostly pose and be cute. However, contrasting that, when I would see Peterson win a round he clearly won it.
Look, you don’t have to hurt the other fighter to win a round, but you have to effectively exert your aggression. I saw Peterson mostly do that in the first half through effective defensiveness. And yes, he did punch Garcia more effectively with all his movement. Garcia failed at stopping Petersons running, and in my opinion, this caused him the fight.
Then you have the second half of the fight – here Peterson gives Garcia what he wants; electing to stay in the pocket and fire with him. And Garcia still can’t capitalize on the situation, getting punched more than he is punching. And he looked the more tired of the two by that time, even though it was Peterson who was doing the majority of the moving.
Nah, Garcia lost this one, but more importantly, he was exposed for the style he works best against. I predict that from this point on he is carefully put against come forward fighters with light hands. Any real movement gives him problems, and couple that style with a strong punch and that will mean a KO loss for Swift.

But I do agree that if it would have gone to 15 Danny would have been out. HIs eye was closing and he was looking the less fresh of the two after twelve.

^^^^^ so how can you have Garcia winning?
too bad, wonder who Garcia is fighting next though?

The funniest part is when they were giving props to Peterson that round and talk about him looking great, and then we see Steve Farhood giving all the rounds to Garcia.
