Say what ya'll want haters, Lamont didn't do nothin til after round 7 or 8, didn't land nothin til after the 6th round, just like Herrera who easily lost the first 4 rounds, it's ok any ignorant human being would judge a fight based on how it ended

Exactly. Peterson must of been worried about something, the way he started the fight. He had a 12-15 pound weight advantage, but fought out of character the first 6 rounds. Garcia is getting a lot of hate on here but he clearly won the fight. There is also a chance that Peterson would've gotten KO'ed, if he had tried to walk Garcia down, too early. That's why I think he ran. Late, Garcia seemed to be having a problem with Peterson's illegal weight advantage, more than his punch.

When you are able to come in that big you can hold punishment better. But Peterson still look fluid and not the usual slow bloating when fighters gains so much weight at fight night.

Peterson made the contracted weight so it wasn't illegal. Chavez Jr is the king of rehydration at this moment

Seriously people. Peterson didn't do **** for the first 8 rounds. Just because he looked good on the last 4 it doesn't make him a winner. This place hasn't changed at all.

Yeah, Peterson along with other fighters, often use this tactic. If you ask me, it's cheating. I don't care about him legally weighing what the contract says. Enough is enough in boxing already. Without that huge weight advantage, Garcia would've hurt him. Peterson's weight made Garcia tired in rounds 11-12. Peterson is known to rehydrate a lot over night. It's all good though, because Garcia beat him anyways.

I think Garcia performs better as an underdog. Pretty sure he won the night, but I'm excited to see him step up.

I was riding high on Garcia but he had a bad night with Herrera, a bad last few rounds with Judah and now this fight. IF he don't change trainers and practice a plan B he won't do good with the top 147 pounders.

Everybody that is going to face him will be prepared for that hook

Peterson cost himself the fight he did jack all the first six rounds

Peterson- 16 landed /35 thrown for 45% through 6

Garcia- 51 landed / 152 thrown for 33% through 6

And everyone saying he boxed Garcia need to stop he was waiting for Garcia to tire out before really fighting him it's as clear as day.

What Algieri did To Provo was using movement to Box
What Lara did to Nelo was was using movement to Box
What Peterson did to Garcia was wait for him to tire and try to steal the fight in the later rounds.

Was it Close? Hell yes razor close. It was not a robbery it was a good close fight. Could people see Peterson winning? Yes but that goes vice versa Garcia but in no way was it a robbery.

In the end he should have turned up the pressure after round 3 or 4 not wait til round 7 or 8.

I also think Peterson deserved the victory on a close fight. I could even agree with the judge who saw it as a draw although I think Garcia`s face ending more busted goes beyond any card. I believe Garcia is not going to have it easy once he starts fighting at full 147 (he is already on the welter weight division with those 143 catch weights).
