Danny won more rounds and deserved the win.
Lol I couldn't hear the commentators, I was too busy yelling at the tv.

Listen! how many were at ringside last night?

      Well I was there!
the judges were influenced by the pro Garcia fans at the Barclays Center!
As soon as he walk into the arena(Garcia) he was cheered, and LP was booed!
Also the fact the the PR contingent was 5 to 1 didn't help Peterson's cause.
Yes, LP started slow, but being ringside, Garcia missed a lot of his attempts.
But the fact that the pro Garcia crowd cheered everytime he threw a punch, It put Peterson at a disadvantage.
Even when LP did a little showboating, the pro Garcia fans booed him.

But when LP came on, you heard a hush in the crowd, and a small contingent of Peterson fans took over(myself included).

In the end, yes LP's strategy was the right one, but he should have took over after round four, like he did against Holt.

Garcia did nothing to win this fight, and in all honesty, LP did nothing to lose.
A draw would have been the right call, but 116-113????

BTW, all the pro Garcia fans ringside had that look of Herrera on their faces, and the pro Peterson fans had that look of Kahn look on their faces too!

FYI, Garcia throws alot of low blows. I guess it's a Philly thing!

Let me say i am a huge swift fan and thought swift would win by ko or easy decision. Having said that i thought lamont got robbed. He used a educated jab and walked swift down and landed very hard shots as swift tried his best to avoid lamont. Lamont impressed me with his performance. Swift is still my fav as he can box and has the power to ****. I hope for a rematch soon. Make it bappen haymon. Premier boxing is making great bouts.

Lamont could have punched more, but he jabbed swift into oblivion. If you look at the first three rounds, I think it's hard to give swift two of them based on not cutting off the ring and missing. Yes Lamont was "only" jabbing but it was the most dominant punch of the first two rounds by far.

I felt Pete won, but he lost because he waited too long to do what he did to Danny's face. If he had started attacking 2 rounds earlier I think he would've got the win or a stoppage. I never thought Garcia was anything special, he just has an eraser in that left hook. Good fighters seem to beat him up, get comfortable and get caught with his eraser. I think Danny needs to leave dad for a better trainer. I think Roach or Garcia could make him a much better fighter. With his gifts he should seek and destroy, not try to box as much.

Lamont did nothing the whole 1st half and all that showboating and not punching back gets you exactly where he landed, in the L column. Garcia won this.

I had a feeling this would happen, which is why I chose not to watch the fight.

Still my top sport, but becoming very predictable now. The level of advertising and promotional outlay meant that Garcia losing would not be an option. That will change as PBC builds a foundation, but it needs characters like Angel and Danny for promo reasons at the moment.

Simply put, Petersen would have needed to KO Garcia to get a draw seriously though, Danny had a poor 2014 and 2015 has gotten off to a less than stellar start, which is polarizing fans.

That said, Al is playing the long game and could market Danny as a "villain" against another cash cow.

                    We'll see.

These ppl on this site got me angry for not giving LP a chance.
Just because of the Matheysse fight.
Now they know LP is serious, and now he will be overlooked, because he can really thump!
