It would not shock me at all if Cotto KO Geale quicker than GGG. Cotto is actually fast compare to the rest of the division and seem to carry his power to 160. I could easily see Cotto dominating this division with an iron fist.

You must be on meth. He has had one fight at 160, against a cripple, so it's impossible to make any statements on how he has carried his power up to the division. I can see Cotto being dominated by everyone at 160 as easily as you claim to see the opposite. Let's wait and see how his first fight against a healthy middleweight fighter goes before making any ridiculous predictions.

I will give one prediction... if Geale hits Cotto with the same punch that GGG ignored before knocking Geale out, Cotto goes down and does not get up.

Watch the end of the first round against Martinez. Sergio hit Cotto with a left hand that nearly took his head off but for some reason the announcers didnt even see Sergio land that punch or even talk about it. Cotto took it and didnt even budge. Cotto ever since moving to 154 has taken punches better because 1 . Bigger gloves and 2. He doesn't starve himself to make weight.

You also have to realize outside of GGG the MW division doenst have big punchers. The Geale's, Murrays and the rest are decent punchers but not big super punchers or even fast. That is why is not hard for a 154 pounder to win here because the fighters are basic fighters and nothing pops when you see them. They average punchers, average boxers that have average speed.

Do you think that in a period where they are threatened by a possible new title and league coming into being from Haymon that they will act like fools and ignore what they have spent all this time and effort publicizing?

I don't ever cheer for Haymon... That's Dunn, not me. Again, you think the WBC has some integrity because the father died? You're telling me I'm supposed to believe the entitled rich son is supposed be less greedy and have more integrity now? Did you read the specifics on this meeting? They'll have a "real" champion but they'll still have WBA, WBC titles as well as super and normal champions... I'll take the WBC seriously when they have 1 or even 2 champions in a division.

You can turn a blind eye to all their BS and just hope for them to act in "good faith" for the sport but that's a fantasy. I prefer to live in reality and the reality is that less than a year ago, the WBC did exactly what you don't think they will do. The hate is impressive. Cotto's confidence seems to unnerve the occassional misfit. Maybe if Cotto wore a less ****sure expression the insecure amongst us, would have less need to lash out against the king.

Sergio Martinez did the same ****. He fought the Darren Barkers, Mathew Macklins and Martin Murrays of the world. Geale and Heiland are in that same class. B class fighters in a division full of those class of fighters. Geale is rank #4 by the ring and is in every top 10 rankins in the division.

They can train at different times, the issue was last Nov/Dec when Manny was training for Algieri in the Philippines as that fight was in China. Cotto wasn't about to go out there, but he has to go to LA to train with Freddie.
