Rubbish !Fighting Froch in the UK is a huge fight on PPV. Fighting Ward in Oakland is only a big fight in the local Oakland news papers. Ward fans have to understand that their guy is not a draw, not on HBO and certainly not on PPV. He has fought TWICE in OVER THREE YEARS!!! The guy has been kicked off of every P4P list that exists and stripped of his RING title.
OPEN YOUR EYES WARD FANS!!! ANDRE WARD IS NO LONGER A MAJOR FORCE IN BOXING!!!!!
Ward is not a draw, but GGG is ?Comment

Froch not showing any interest in GGG simply cannot be called a duck, they fight in different divisons for fcuks sake.
Froch has had a stellar career, has fought everyone, and is just about to retire..... so any inference that he is ducking a guy who currently fights in a completely different division..... is ridiculous.
I even heard some clown insinutating that Mayweather was ducking GGG.
Which is exhibiting the exact same level of ******ity imho.
GGG fights in a completely different division, and has categorically stated that he is not ready to move up to 168. GGG does not have a killer resume, he has not cleaned out his own division (for whatever reason), and he does not have anyone even close to Froch on his resume.
The best thing about this discussion is.....
I love how mentioning Andrew Ward is a bad thing when discussing GGG
Froch / GGG is hypothetical..... but is totally open to discussion.
Ward / GGG is hypothetical..... but simply cannot be discussed, EVER !

Its not rubbish, Froch filled a stadium in his last fight, made over 15m. Its no comparison.
The poster you responded to didn't claim GGG is a draw, but rather that Froch is a way bigger draw in the UK than Ward in the Us. That's obvious. Though at this point even GGG is more of a draw than Ward in the Us.Comment

You're really confused. For one, it was already explained, Froch brings the money, Ward doesnt, not enough to cover Wards purse even. But also Gggs trainer told Wards people to send an offer. Response: maybe 2016, Ward needs tuneups, GGG fight needs building upFroch not showing any interest in GGG simply cannot be called a duck, they fight in different divisons for fcuks sake.

Mentioning Andre Ward is pointless when discussing ANY fighter. Ward is completely inactive. Neither HBO or Showtime are interested in showing his tune up fights. If it was not for the WBA ordering a mandatory defense between Ward and Froch, Ward would still have no possible opponents on tap.
Ward is not a factor and will not be a factor until he gets his tune up fights out of the way. And unless he lowers his asking price to the networks, he will not be fighting even a tune up any time soon.
Froch/GGG is worth discussing because it involves two active fighters, each with a large fan base who would be a PPV draw in the UK and a great draw on regular HBO in the US. There is little chance of the fight happening due to Froch showing much more interest in a Chavez Jr. fight in Vegas and the possible Ward fight which has been ordered by WBA.
Ward/GGG is not worth discussing because Ward is not an active fighter, has fought twice in three and a half years, is not a draw even on regular HBO and is not a PPV in any universe, real or imagined. Ward has also stated that he would not consider a GGG fight until he has at least two or three tune up fights to get ring ready.
Now that should be clear enough for anyone, even a Ward fan, to understand.Comment

Thanks for the laugh. You're the same idiot who tried to claim Robert Guerrero has never beaten fighters ranked in the top ten. Still think Ring Magazine is legitimate without bias or corruption lol?
Is that direct enough for you?Comment

Golovkin's trainer also called out Ward several years ago. Ward said lets fight. Golovkin's manager had to tell Abel Sanchez to keep his mouth shut and told the media that there wasn't enough money for Gennady to take the Ward fight.
What has been established is that Golovkin's trainer is all talk.Comment

So Ward didn't send an offer then? Gotcha. No money is indeed not enough for that fightGolovkin's trainer also called out Ward several years ago. Ward said lets fight.
