Ward has not been active for almost a year and a half. Ward never called anyone's bluff although his lawyer did get brave and sent an email to Lampley who has nothing at all to do with GGG or getting ANY fight signed between ANY fighters. Right now Ward is still looking for an easy opponent that HBO or Showtime would be willing to pay him 2 million to fight. That is not going to happen any time soon and Ward may well have worn out his welcome with his ridiculous diva attitude. Someone who has only fought twice in over three years is in no position to make demands of anyone.
It has ALWAYS been the position of GGG and his camp that he will only move to another division for a PPV worthy fight. Unfortunately Ward is not PPV worthy no matter who he may fight. Even a fight with Froch will not be PPV in the US. It would barely be PBC worthy at this point.Comment

I understand Golovkin's team's position but I have to correct people like propaganda expert, HeroBando, who cleverly tries to act like its Ward's people who don't want the fight when we know Golovkin's people haven't wanted it for years.Comment

And neither is Froch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1) Froch is about to retire. He has stated that on numerous occasions.
2) He clearly wants a huge payday, obviously GGG cannot give him that.
3) GGG is not currently campaigning at 168, so this is just ridiculous.
4) Fakk GGG sideways with a chainsaw, if he ONLY wants to go to 168 to cherry-pick someone who he feels is the right style for him and would also just so happen to provide him with his career best payday.
5) Fakk changing the rules (divisions) and fakk lowering standards (cherry-picking Froch, but not daring to mention Ward) just to make things more appealing for your current boxing love-interest.
I am happy to discuss a potential fight between a middleweight and a super middlewweight anytime..... but that potential fight will be GGG/Ward..... because Froch is about to retire, has proven himself already, and just wants one more payday...... so he is not on the table.Comment

BTW, Ward IS interested in a Golovkin fight.....
..... he is just not interested in dropping to 160 to get it.
He has extended at invitation to Golovkin, more than once.Comment

He said I'm the A side, send me an offer, which is a joke. Virgil Hunter just did an interview saying that fight needs to be built up. ROC Nation CEO said when the time is right, when its a ppv fight. Ward is looking to fight Periban or Porky Medina nextComment

Cherry picking Froch? Isn't that p4p Wards best win? And unlike Ward GGG is prepared to fight Froch on his home turf, going up a division. GtfoAnd neither is Froch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neither guy wants it at this point since it cannot be financed, unlike Froch who brings a lot of money in the UkWard called their bluff after he beat Rodriguez.

Actually GGG's trainer recently said that if Ward is interested in fighting GGG, all his people have to do is make a reasonable offer and it will be considered. As GGG would be the one changing divisions and Ward claims to still be the A side, it is up to them to make the offer. And just as happened when Loeffler accepted Chavez Jr.'s 'bet' of a million dollars, not a peep has been heard from Ward or his people in regards to GGG since.
GGG's camp also sent an offer to Froch indicating a willingness to fight him in the UK if he wished and they never received a response.
These guys are brave when talking to television interviewers or Internet bloggers or other media, but when it comes down to actually getting off the pot and making an offer to GGG's camp, they go into radio silence mode.Comment

GGG needs to move to 168, before that fight can realistically be discussed.Comment
