Froch wants to get paid. Chavez represents the better payday so obviously that's who he's targeting. I doubt he's losing any sleep over GGG just like I'm sure Ward isn't either. These guys are battle tested, have been in the ring with better fighters and are also bigger. I pity those who think GGG is going to power through either one.

Hero..... Barcham stated that GGG/Froch is a huge fight on PPV..... and you have BOTH attempted to use that as justification as to why Froch should fight GGG.Dude, please. You said how come GGG will go to UK but not Oakland. Barcham:
"Fighting Froch in the UK is a huge fight on PPV. Fighting Ward in Oakland is only a big fight in the locadraw. kland news papers. "
So you lost the thread but still won't acknowledge GGG would be much cheaper than Ward, and probably sell better. Nowhere did I say GGG is ppv. He's not until he beats a ppv draw.
Use some common-sense.....
IF that fight sells, it will be because of Froch, not because of GGG, so why would GGG be a preferred opponent?
GGG will NOT sell better than Ward, Froch is the A-side regardless as to who he fights, he will bring the money..... so, how can you keep a straight face while saying that Froch is missing out on a GGG payday LOL
Froch attempting to avenge his loss to Ward is a bigger fight in every aspect..... money/legacy.
Ward fights at 168, Ward has beaten Froch already, Ward would be better for legacy, and Ward would likely be a better payday..... GGG is none of those things.
Saying that Froch can get Ward cheaper is lame. What, you are suddenly concerned about Frochs finances? Ward is obviously a better opponent, and Froch gets a huge payday regardless.
We get it Hero, you are using the same approach to GGG that you have used for Pacquiao for the last 5 years..... anything that benefits your current boxing love-interest MUST happen, and yet anything that does NOT benefit your current boxing love-interest is completely unacceptable.
Lets look at it a different way.....
Tell me why you think that GGG is prepared to fight Froch, but not Ward ?Comment

Who cares if a Froch fight is the best payday for GGG ?Man I'm gonna give up on you real soon cause its been explained and you're just unwilling to learn.
1. Froch brings big time money in the UK. Even at 75/25 its easily the best payday available to GGG. Ward OTOH probably cannot cover his own purse, at least before ROC but bad signs so far
2. Froch is an active fighter. Ward is not and wants several tuneups, not available till 2016
Hard luck for GGG. That does not justify why Froch should fight him.
What, Froch owes GGG a payday for some reason ?
The guy doesnt even fight in Frochs division.Comment

Alright, so they ducked Ward then !He didn't refuse to entertain it, he said the moneys not there. That's obvious when the A sider is waiting on an offer from guy with far smaller purses and rep. Easy way to prove him wrong: make a nice offer. Way to prove him right: sit out then struggle to sell networks on a tuneup
Come on man.Comment

He has little chance of beating Ward, I firmly believe that most people know that..... which is why you can see excuses being made to exclude Ward as a potential opponent.Froch wants to get paid. The current situation is, Froch SHOULD fight GGG, but how dare Andre Ward even look in GGG's direction..... and this is despite GGG fighting in a completely different division.
Its a silly discussion really.Comment

Hero, if Froch states that he will not consider GGG as a potential opponent, for whatever reason..... is that a duck?Comment

Froch - GGG is a PPV IN THE UK, not in the US. Ward - ANYONE is not a PPV anywhere in the known or unknown universe.Hero..... Barcham stated that GGG/Froch is a huge fight on PPV..... and you have BOTH attempted to use that as justification as to why Froch should fight GGG.

GGG is prepared to fight Ward if there is a large enough money offer from Roc Nation to make the fight worthwhile as the fight is not PPV level due to neither GGG or Ward being a PPV draw on their own in the US. So to make it worthy of the effort and the risk of GGG moving to a higher division, it is up to Ward, the champion at that weight class to make it worthwhile.
As far as A side goes, yes, Froch is the A side in either a GGG fight or a Ward fight. Ward is the B side if he fights anyone who has had more than 3 fights in the last 4 years which is where Ward stands at the moment.Comment
