I agree with most of what ur saying , Haymon has little to do with these match-ups . Haymon doesn't go to his own fighters and say ; fight this guy or else . Nor do I believe he goes to his fighter and advise not to fight someone , but would think so the way people talk about him on here . I totally agree with u . Instead i believe Fighters go to him and say make this fight happen , whether its a easy fight or a hard one . Everyone I saw on here was pumped about Thurman/Guerrero , maybe ur the one i didnt see who wasn't . I also agree that no ones excited about Garcia/Peterson , but it seems that Garcia has been looking for that easy coast fight since Matyesse but hasn't been able to find it until now , cause Mauricio really did a number on him in Puerto Rico .

I believe, in general, Haymon tells his stable of fighters who they can and cannot fight. I do not think he is able to do that with Mayweather who has been fighting and has been a superstar longer than Haymon has been involved in the sport. I believe that Quillin vacated his title last year at the direct insistence of Haymon with the promise that he would make up the lost revenue and get him another shot at it as soon as possible. And guess what? Quillin has a fight for the same title in two weeks time.
