it really is sad watching gbp go downhill. Haymon will see these type of things for years as these promoters will try to hold onto their power that they are losing

With that many boxers, most of which aren't very active someone has to be pissed off.
they just have to be i just dont understand lol if u have not been reading the guy has so many dates now its no longer a problem they all knew the deal and that it would be tough for this past year and trust me they dont say they like al haymon because they have to

I thought Jhonny was one of the cats GBP let Al buy from him or whatever during the Richard/GBP arbitration?

But if there is a contract with GBP why is he fighting for PBC & not GBP in the first place?

And if he's not in an active contract with GBP now, but was back then why couldn't he turn down Gary or whoever previously? There's a million reasons to turn down a fight only to accept it at a later date. Seems like this could be more bark than bite & an easily explained situation.

Look,if you want to be a cheap money grubber, and act like if haymons **** fights are the holy grail of boxing, just because they're on free TV,more power to you. But if I have to pay for HBO or showtime, which I already do,at least I know that I'm getting quality fights, not some cheap ufc model fights, run by a man who thinks he can manage boxing, like he can manage music.
            I concur...

The fighters will never know how much ad revenue or ultimately tv rights fees are being collected by good ol' Uncle Al........
Do you really believe Canelo has a true accounting of the ad revenue GBP gets for his fights? Do you really think that Pacquiao got a full proper accounting (and cut) of those Macau casino site fees?

LEGALLY they are supposed to have an accurate accounting. That's what the Ali Act stipulates. If they're NOT getting it, then that's an issue his management has a legal remedy for.

I think it's pretty clear that Haymon's business model flies in the face of the spirit and intent of the Ali Act. Whether or not any government entity ever actually does anything about it is another matter.

Oscar is doing as many law suites as fights lately.

I'm basing this on now , not what they've done in the past .

Except that Haymon only takes 15% from his fighters and tells them where most of the revenue streams are, while Arum/Oscar easily take double that from their fighters and (outside of Canelo) don't tell any of their fighters ****.
