wait ... what?
Floyd Mayweather, as a newly licensed promoter in the state of Nevada was supposed to say "why yes, I was most definitely in a room where a substance, clearly deemed illegal by state law, was being prepared for consumption" or "yes, in my personal gym, we force guys to battle to the end, with no breaks at all"? I know that technically it's true that Pacquiao has the 2 losses in recent memory, but does anyone out there really believe that one of those 2 losses (Bradley obviously) is legit? I mean if you were a judge that night would you have scored that fight for Bradley? Serious question.
I mean for f**k's sake not even Timmy's own mom would have scored that fight a win for him.Comment

The judges are the judges, bad decisions and all; still, if you're going to question the first Bradley fight, you can't forget that Pacquiao got the edge in the third Marquez fight, too.I know that technically it's true that Pacquiao has the 2 losses in recent memory, but does anyone out there really believe that one of those 2 losses (Bradley obviously) is legit? (sidenote: the first Bradley fight was far more competitive than folks seem willing to acknowledge in hindsight, largely because Pacquiao left 8-10 of the rounds on the table due to not being active; Pacquiao thought he could win the fight off of 30-second flurries and his name, and he was wrong. Personally had it 7-5/8-4 Bradley, due to Bradley being the one setting the pace for the majority of the rounds)Comment

looking forward to that last episode after the fight. Should be great to see Floyd crying after he loses.

Fair enough in regards to the 3rd Marquez fight. And I do agree that Bradley/Pac 1 was closer than it was portrayed -- particularly by HBO, but that said Pac hurt Bradley far worse in the fight than Bradley hurt him (did Bradley even land a single shot that really stood out in that fight?) and Manny completely dominated every punch category across the board. It may have been closer than what HBO portrayed...but it was still in every way a clear Pacquiao win. Well in mine (and most people's) opinion anyway. It's hard for me to see how people could have it any other way when you look at this:The judges are the judges, bad decisions and all; still, if you're going to question the first Bradley fight, you can't forget that Pacquiao got the edge in the third Marquez fight, too.
